Two people
Two stories
Two points of view
One from Manhattan
One from Jamestown
Both in D.C to protest
One with love
One with hatred
Both holding signs
Both with children
Both with significant others
Both in LOVE
As they wait for the verdict
One shouts
One sings
When the verdict comes
One is proud
While the other is outraged
One smiles
The other hits
One ends up in a big white room
One in a small gray room
One is free
While the other stays
One is married
While the other sits
One is happy
While the other rots.A/N: yayyyyyyyyy! I know I am late but I had an eventful day yesterday. I wrote this on Thursday as a summer camp project, so very ironic. I found out during summer camp and we had a 15 min dance party as we all are LGBTQ supporters. So yeah, stay beautiful, stay you, and love you.
