(Prologe 1/?)
Waking up in an enclosed, dark, oxygen depriving box isn't the best way to wake up, but it's not something foreign. I sigh quietly before feeling my clothes, a smirk asked across my face. 'So it's true. I'm finally back.' I whisper to myself. I soon hear talking, though it's muffled-"Damn, they'll be here soon. I need to get that uniform."-it's not anyone I know of, it's sounds more mischievous. Before I know it, I feel the right side of the box heating up before a yell of surprise is heard.
I move as far to the left as I can, but the temperature continues to rise. I ignore the conversation going on outside the box and start to strike at the lid. After about 3 minutes, I finally get the boxs' lid off and stumble out of the wooden container as the source of heat breaks the side of the, now revealed, coffin. 'Blue fire?' I whisper, staring at it questioningly, shaking off the curiosity. I summon some water and put the fire out.
"EHHH?!" I hear behind me, I sigh quietly before turning around. "Yes?" I say politely, coming face to face with, who I assume are, the dorm leaders. They all seem confused, except Prince Kingscholar, but that's excpeted. "How are you out of the Gateway?!" I turn to the person I dreaded meeting most,
Dire Crowely.
I calm myself before speaking. "The right side of the coffin caught on fire, I had no choice but to breack the lid. I apologise for breaking the schools' property." I say 'sorrowfuly' with a respectful and apoligetic bow. "I do hope that you intend to pay for the damages." Crowely says while crossing his arms, I stand up straight. "Of coures Headmage" "But how did the Gateway catch fire? And why is the one right next to it torched?" A short, red haird male asked, I look back at the coffins to reafirm that I had to put out the fire. And that the fire had started from the other coffin. "I think that's how mine caught fire. I had woken up about 7 minutes ago to talking and yelling before I felt the heat of the fire." I say while turning back to them.
I hear Crowely hum before going to unlock the coffins to let the other students out. I move closer to the coffin to inspect it. The outside was heavily charred while the inside was barely burned. "It seems the fire was started on the outside of the Gateway." The red-haired boy says out loud. Said male comes to stand next to me, accompanied by a floating tablet. The boy kneels down to inspect the ground. "Wow, such an astute observation." Prince Kingscholar says with, what I can only assume is, a roll of his eyes.
"And how did you come to this conclusion?" He asks sarcastically as his eyes fixate on me. I set a gentle hand on the kneeling boys' shoulder to ground him before speaking. "The ground is just as charred, if not more, then the coffin itself, Your Majesty. The inside is also relitivly the same save for a few holes that were burned into it here and there." I say politely, the boy in front of me nodding a 'thank you' before standing up and making his way to his .
I wait patiently as Crowely finally gets all the students out of their respective gates. I pull my hood down further as to keep my face hidden. The six houswardens make their way to the front of the mirror. 'Where is Prince Draconia? He's the Housewarden of Dasmainia, isn't he?' I scan the area but don't see any sign of him. Loud clapping pulls my attention. I look to the source and see the small redhead getting the attention of everyone else.
"Good morning, and welcome to Night Raven College. One of the most prestigious institutions of magic in the whole of Twisted Wonderland. I am the Housewarden of Heartsalbyl House, Riddle Roseheart." He then gestures to the boy next to him, a neatly combed and styled head of silverish-gray haired boy with a pair of half-rimmed glasses. "I'm Azul Ashengrotto, head of Octavial House," "Leona Kingscholar, Dorm Leader of Savanaclaw," "Vil Schoenheit, Housewarden of Pomfermor," "I'm Kalim Al-Asim! I'm in charge of Scarabia!" "I-Idia Shroud, Dorm Leader of I-Ignahide." "And I am Dire Crowely, you're Headmage."
