— Millie grunted as she put down the last of her luggage, having just moved into her new apartment. Waiting to meet her two new roommates, hoping they weren't bad.
Suddenly, two girls walked in, Millie looked towards the door when she heard voices. "Oh! You must be our roommate!" The first girl said, her voice surprisingly sweet. "Hi! I'm Luna Hughes." The brunette extended her hand towards Millie. "I'm Millie, Millie James." She shook the girl's hand.
"I'm Juliet Reynolds." The other brunette introduced herself, shaking Millie's hand soon after.
"I hope you like the sofa and everything, I got a lot of simple things to go with the apartment." Luna says as she gestures around the living room space and Millie nodded. "It's great, cute n' cozy." The girl agreed.
"Where are you from, Millie?" The Reynolds girl asked as they all moved to sit on the sofa. "I'm from a small town in Texas. Nothin' really big." Millie shrugged.
"I think it's cute!" Luna beamed. "Hey, why don't we go get something to eat. I don't know about you two, but I'm starving."
Juliet and Millie agreed. They grabbed what they needed and headed off, Millie couldn't help but smile to herself, thinking that it wouldn't be so bad there after all.

The girls decided to eat at a small place nearby campus, choosing to sit by the window since it was a pretty nice day out.
They ate calmly as Luna told them a random fact she had found out recently. Until she was interrupted by a loud male voice.
"Wrenny!" Millie looked up at the approaching curly-haired brunette who had some kind of resemblance to her roommate. "Hi, Jules." He greeted the Reynolds girl as he approached before noticing Millie. "Who's this?"
"Luke, this is our roommate Millie. Millie, this is my brother Luke, he's a sophomore." Luna introduced and Luke shook Millie's hand. "Nice to meet you."
"You too."
The boy talked with them for a few more minutes before heading off. "Anyway, Millie tell us about yourself!" Luna asked. The girl being excited about having a new friend.
The girls spent about a while just talking and joking, Millie grinned at how much she had in common with her new friends.
