(A/N: This chapter is inspired by one of A03 user laurellins' chapters from their fanfic "Tales Of Camp Half Blood" specifically the first couple of one-shots they did centering around the Sea Of Monsters story itself - or in short, how camp in their version found out about Thalia's tree being poisoned. So shout-out to them for being the inspiration once more to a chapter made by me about SOM. Trust me, it will not be the last even now.
Plus, I am releasing some chapters of Part Two now, mainly because they do not involve much action with Adagio and Sunset. Once Part One is completed, I will continue editing and releasing expanded versions of chapters until I get level with the original story, after which I can then finish both versions and then move on to Part II. Maybe I'll finish the original first book before then, so not know.
Also, with the time-skip from October to December, since you know the Gods basically are useless most of the time in PJO, I put a time skip like that in there just to highlight it basically - if not implicitly.)

October 2006
Most people would start the story of the year that Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase - alongside Percy's newfound brother Tyson, rookie cabin counselor Clarisse La Rue, and Percy's best friend Grover Underwood - tackled the Sea Of Monsters when Percy, from what I heard, along with Annabeth and Tyson were attacked by a group of Laistrygonian Giants in Percy's middle school, but during all of that time, I was at camp with Adagio, Katie, and Sunset. So respectfully, I would have to disagree, since I however.. am not most people. In actuality, in my own opinion, the story of the Sea of Monsters started way earlier than that.. in fact, it actually started in October of last year.
Before I begin however, I would like to preface this by saying that at this point, Adagio and Sunset had really settled in nicely to the Aphrodite Cabin. The two of them really fit along well with Silena's whole perception of how one should be a daughter of Aphrodite, which wasn't breaking people's hearts to prove themselves as one thankfully. Alabaster had told me all about that event, which happened the year prior to me coming to camp.
However, like Katie, there was really one friend that connected them all together that none of them could really stay away from, even if they tried. That was me.
I still had no fucking idea I was going to tell them, much less the rest of camp for that matter, about the prophecy that connected them - and whoever the fourth girl was - to me. I didn't know how in the world I was going to do that. At least Luke fit in nicely as the camp's new big brother and as the new head counselor of the Hermes Cabin, so I could maybe talk it over with him in the future.
Maybe.
But when October came around, suddenly telling them about my original prophecy - the one I was still keeping secret - was suddenly the least of my fucking concerns. Of course, that betraying bastard Blake and Kronos were already moving forward with their plans, as if to drive home the fact that normalcy, whatever semblance of it we thought we had left, was well and truly gone.
Like I said, it started in October. Annabeth had returned to camp by this time, that year with her father having gone.. not very well at all.
Early one morning, my siblings and I, plus the rest of the Hermes Cabin, woke up to a scream. By now, we had already managed to quell the bout of nightmares some people close to Blake, notably Luke, Lee, Silena, and Katie had suffered in the aftermath of his betrayal - with me, Adagio, and Sunset being the only ones who could even help Katie, which lead to something I'll get into later - but this was different. It wasn't someone close to Blake that was suffering the nightmare this time around, but rather it was a new one to the business of Camp Half Blood.
