Chapter 16

{ Colin }

"I'll think about it." I tell Jen and walked away.

Do I have to go to Jen's wedding? I need to because she's my bestfriend, I know it will just hurt me to see the woman or my bestfriend that I love getting married to other man. Well I guess I'm stuck at the bestfriend zone. I have to stay strong. Okay I will go to the wedding for her, but wait the letter how will I give it to her? Maybe at the wedding. I really wish I was the man she will marry. But it's okay atleast I get to see her happy.

I took a deep breath and Evan was looking at me. "Its you and me buddy." I tell and smile at him and he smiled back.

We are about to board the plane. I took Evan and his bag. I stand in the line holding Evan and also our boarding pass. I give it to the woman who was checking all the boarding passes and she gave it back and let us go to the plane.

Few hours later in Ireland at Colin's parents home where they will be staying~

"Colin we need to talk to you." My dad said to me as I put Evan to my room.

"Sure I'll be down in a minute." I tell him and put Evan to my bed letting him to sleep there, I went down and I sit infront of my parents.

"So what do you want to talk about?" I ask them.

"I.. I mean we... Want to know why you and Helen got divorced?" He asks

"Well you know I really don't feel the same way about her like this past years we've been together." I explain

"May I ask why?" He replied. Do I have to tell them about Jen?

"Uhm uh because I... I fell inlove to another woman." I pause. "And It's uh.. Remember my -" I got interrupted by my mom's happy voice.

"I knew it! I won! Now give me my 5 bucks!" My mom said looking at dad and he gave her the money.

"Did you just guys bet on me?" I ask them and they nod.

"Sorry." They both apologize.

"It's okay." I tell them and went back to my bedroom.

Next morning I received a text from Jen.

"Hey! The wedding is on September 27. See ya!" I read it and replied.

"Okay thanks for telling me. See you soon!" I replied and close my phone.
