I Fell, I Got Up, I Saw Him, I Fell Again(Hugfia)

Chapter 2

🖤Hugo's POV🖤

I woke up and got ready for work but I am in a new city because there is a ball for work that I need to attend that's on Monday.  I got in the car and looked up where the nearest Starbucks is because my assistant is not in the same city as me at the moment and I don't know where the fucking Starbucks is.
Once I reached the Starbucks I went in (while on my phone doing work) when I accidentally bump into someone. She almost fell but I grabbed her in time before her face met with the floor.  I couldn't see what she looked like because her auburn/brownish hair was in the way.  But my whole world fucking stopped when I heard her voice. The sweet voice that I haven't heard in a year.

"Hugo?"

It was her.

It was Sophia.

I haven't seen her ever since we went to Corinthian High school and RPA middle school together. She is just as beautiful as she was last time we saw each other.

Back at Corinthian High School (1 year ago)
Third person POV

Sophia and Hugo were sitting on a bench outside of Corinthian High School. Sad and pain paint there faces as they hold each other in there arms. Not wanting to let go of each other.

"Everything is going to be alright Sophia," Hugo said as he holds her tight in his arms while burying his head into the crook of her neck.

"How do you know that Hugo. We might never see each other again" Sophia whispered, trying to hold back her tears.

"I know for a fact we will see each other again. One way or another we will meet again. We can finished where we left off when we see each other and everything will be fine. You will forever and always be my best friend. Till we grow old and till we have our last breath." Hugo said as a couple of tears fall.

Sophia was quick to wipe away his tears with the pad of her thumb. What she didn't know was that she was crying too.

Hugo kissed away every tear till there were none left. Once he was done he pressed a lingering kiss on her forehead and closed his eyes.

He took a deep breath and said,"I wish we could stay like this forever. Where the outside world doesn't exist and we just have each other."

"I wish that too but we both know that will not happen. We will have to go back to reality eventually even though it's hard. It's the best thing to do for us. To move on. Live a good life. Happy and full of joy. Maybe we will both find a significant other and be married when we next see each other. Who knows, but we need to be happy."

And even though everything that Sophia said was right. He felt very jealous that Sophia will find a guy to love that isn't him.

The thing is Hugo has had the biggest crush on Sophia since they became best friends and Sophia feels the exact same way, but Hugo doesn't know that because he is the definition of oblivious and is a wimp to ask her out on a freaking date! (All the guys listen and man up already!!!)

Anyways...

Let's go back to present time

I can't believe what I'm seeing.
My best friend
My soulmate
My first and only crush
Standing right in front of me within arms length. My eyes widened when I look at her.

"Sophia?"

That is all she needs to hear before she tackles me with a hug.

"I can't believe that it's you," Sophia cries and she sticks her head into my necks as I hold her, probably getting many stares from other customers but I could care less at the moment. All I'm focused on is her.

"Don't cry Sof. I told you that we would meet each other again someday." I say as I hold her like she is my lifeline which she probably is to be honest with you.

"Of course I'm going to cry Hu, I am just now seeing you after a year!" Sophia exclaims while using the nickname she gave me when we were younger.

"Wait! What are you even doing here? I thought you live in Albuquerque not the city of Enchancia?"Sophia questioned as she scrunched up her tiny little nose in curiosity. It was adorable!

"I am here for business but I'm probably going to stay longer to catch up with you. I mean if it is ok with you,"I said while looking at here with hope in my eyes.

"Ok course that's ok with me Hu! Give me your number so we can meet up." Sophia says.

"Ok" I said while taking out my phone and giving her my number.

"Ok, well Amber is probably waiting for her drink so I should get going but I will see you later Hugo." As she grabbed Ambers pink drink and started making her way to the door.

As much as I didn't want her to go just yet, I knew I had to let her do the things that she has to do today.

So with one last hug, I said bye. I grabbed my coffee and made my way to work. But with her on my mind, I got zero work done. I even went to bed with her on my mind!

After today I knew that I was a whipped motherfucker

That's the end of the second chapter and tbh I thought I would have quit with the book already.
Guess not.
