I Fell, I Got Up, I Saw Him, I Fell Again(Hugfia)

Chapter 14

💜Sophia's POV💜

I woke up pressed into a hard chest. I wiggled my way out of Hugo's arms and made my way to the bathroom.

I got ready and put on my protector uniform.

I wrote a note telling Hugo that I have to run a couple of errands and will be back later in the evening.

I rang Skye to give me a lift to the Mystic Isles on my Enchantlet and waited for him by my window.

"Hello Sophia! Are u ready for today?"Skye whispered as he pulled up to my window. Since we don't want to wake up Hugo.

"As ready as I'll ever be! To the Isle of Protectors!"I whispered back while getting in his back.

We flew through the clouds and through the big magical gate that leads to the Mystic Isles and went to the Isle of Protectors.

We landed and we made our way to the meeting room.

When I got there, I saw everyone waited for me and sitting down at the big table.

"Hello everyone! Is everyone ready?"I asked everyone.

"Yup" everyone replied.

"Ok. Can someone go over the plan?"I asked.

"Ok so. Sophia is going to ride on Skye and make her way to Anacoxo and go to this weird looking fortress made of vines. She is going to shrink down and make her way through the vines and then once she gets through, she will go back to her normal size. After that she is going to find the dungeon where the Medallion is going to be in one of the chambers. Once she locates it, she will grab it and go back through the vines where she will then go back here with Skye. And under no circumstances will you put it on. Right Sophia?" Orion says.

"Right Orion. I will not put it on."I promised.

"Great! Now you should probably get going before your family starts to worry. It'll also take 2 hours to get there and we need to get you back here as soon as possible so we can start studying for what training we need to give you."Orion says.

"Ok. Bye everyone! I will see you all later!"I said while climbing on Skye and making my way to the door.

"BYE SOPHIA!"Everyone said.

And that was the last thing I heard before me and Skye were on our way to Anacoxo. Let's hope that everything goes smoothly.

I mean what could go wrong???

We made it to Anacoxo in 2 hours and 13 minutes.

"Look Skye! There's the fortress."I said while pointing at it.

"Let's go!"Skye said while flying faster.

Soon later we made it to a big fortress made of vines.

"I'll see you later Skye."I said.

"Good luck Sophia."Skye said.

I walked up the entrance made of vines. I sighed and grabbed onto my necklace.

"I wish to be small"I said.

Pink glittery magic started moving around me and shrinking me.

Once I was completely shrunk down, I started climbing and maneuvering my way through the vines. I made it to the inside of the fortress and said:

"I wish to be big again."

I transformed back to my normal height and started trying to find the basement.

Once I found the basement I started walking down the steep steps into where all the chambers are.

I grabbed the keys hanging on the hook and looked inside everything chamber.

At the last chamber, at the very back of the basement, I saw the Medallion of Anacoxo on a little block like thing which is on middle of a table, and the table is in the middle of the room.

I grabbed the keys and tried all of them on the lock. The third to last key opened the chamber door and I made my way inside.

I made my way to the table and stared at the Medallion in awe.

I slowly reached out for the Medallion and grabbed it.

I held it up close and looked at it. Feeling accomplished and successful.

But that did not last long.

The block that the Medallion was on ticked and slowly started to move down and become apart of the table.

I then felt the ground shake and rumble.

The ceiling was cracking and everything was starting to close in.

I bolted out of the chamber with the Medallion held tightly in my grip.

I dropped the keys on the floor so I wouldn't be holding much and continued my running. The entire fortress was starting to collapse and I was almost at the entrance.

I was around a foot away and said:

"I wish to be small."I said while being right next to entrance.

I shrunk and made my way through to the other side of the vined entrance.

"I wish to be myself again."I said. And returned to my normal size.

"Skye lets go before the vines start coming down on us!"I yelled while climbing his back.

Skye flew away from the fortress just in time before it collapsed.

How did we not know that this was going to happen?

I finally finished the next chapter. Do you have any theories on why Sophia didn't know that the fortress would collapse? I mean, they knew about everything else. Maybe someone didn't want Sophia to know so she would get crumpled. If so, who?
