Everything was very silent in the room, leaving only the two older in the family to be there. The silence has covered Mathew like a thin dew, waiting for his sister to open her eyes.

It's not that no one wanted to stay in the room but looking at Mathew they knew he needed time. To be alone with the person he wants to convince. Kiana wasn’t in a as bad shape as everyone thought she would be rather she was actually fighting her body well.

Mathew was standing up in front of Kiana's bed, looking at the very beautiful person in front him as patience was running out of him. The silence was killing him to be there but his steadiness kept him in the place like a stick, until one of the nurses came in, checking on Kiana's vitals.

"Is she Alright?" Mat spoke softly.

"Yes. She should wake up anytime. Don't worry!" The nurse assured him for the tenth time but it wasn’t enough for him.

"Do you want to take a seat?" The nurse spoke. Mathew looked up at the tall nurse, gathering his own courage to be able to sit beside Kiana.

"Is she your sister?"

"Yes."

"She is going to be alright. Don't be worried." The nurse softly assured Mathew once again.

"I am not worrying about her waking up. She always wakes up."

"Then?"

"I am afraid she might not wanna see me anymore once she wakes up. I made a big mistake." Mathew's eyes wondered at Kiana's face while speaking.

"Our own blood could never stay angry at us. You are over thinking it."

It took Mat few seconds before he could reply and the only thing he could reply was, "You are right."

When Kiana opened her eyes, she felt her body drifted to the heaviness and exhaustion covered her up. She didn’t feel her wound in pain rather he looked around swiftly.

"How are you feeling, Kiana?" An old lady, seems to be the nurse asked in a very polite manner and helped her to sit down slowly.

"Where's Mathew?" Kiana asked back.

"Your brother? He left few minutes ago to bring some people. If you wait for few minutes, he will be here." Kiana nodded and took some water from the nurse.

The hospital felt awkward to her because she was never been to hospital except for some private ones and this wasn’t a private one, this one was very public to her.

Before long, Nora and Xixi entered the room with pure curiosity. Looking at the older in the room their worries grew to a relief and both of them gathered around Kiana who was currently feeling uncomfortable in the hospital robes.

Despite being  uncomfortable, Kiana smiled in a soft smile watching her girls coming to her. Them being alive brings relief to her own body and brain which she can not describe.

None of them could actually utter a word before Kiana once again smiled to herself knowing how she feels so comfortable around them even though It's so silent. Her hands slowly curled around both of the girl's hands, comfortable stroking them.

Kiana noticed Mathew entering the room slowly without disturbing their little moment. The boy looked beaten up probably because of lack of sleep and dehydration but once their eyes mate, he stood frozen.

"Cook me something delicious for dinner. I'll be at home tonight." Kiana ordered softly to what Nora and Xixi had very big smiles.

"Ask Ben to take them home?" Kiana looked at Mat.

Once the girls were out of the room, there were two persons sitting together on the bed. Mathew didn’t know what was something he was waiting for these two days neither he knew why he was so impatient. He wanted to apologize but now that he thinks of it, he doesn’t know how to start.

"Adulthood is hard to understand, Isn't it?" Mathew looked at the woman who spoke to him very softly. Something that she never did or only did to him every now and then.

"I am going to make only two statement which may or may not help you understand everything..... " Kiana was as awkward as always while talking about any kind of emotions but Mathew thinks it was easier for him.

"You are not my business partner, you are my only family....." Kiana took few seconds before talking again, "I have fallen in love with two girls so I will be needing your help convincing them to marry me."

Rather than the first sentence overwhelming Mathew, he was shocked and taken aback by the last sentence. Even though they look like some normal requests coming from an older brother or sister but it coming from Kiana makes things more extraordinary for Mathew.

"I will arrange the rings."

Both of them had a soft giggle on their lips with a small high five to each other. The fear that covered Mathew so far was the fear of getting abandoned by the last family he had and Kiana absolutely understood that. She knew how soft Mathew can get when things are related to her. She decided to forgive him over choosing to make any kind of disagreements because families can never stay angry at each other....
