Hello all! (Ha, Friday Night Dinner reference - well done Evie 😂) and welcome to the book! Now this chapter is just a quick one answering the question for the ages: why are we actually here?
Don't worry, this isn't going to turn into some philosophical rant. That's for when I inevitably have a mid life crisis in my forties surrounded by my many cats I intend to adopt. Will I still be active on Wattpad in my forties? I don't know, but I sort of hope so. A writer's life has to be an active one!
But yes, I'm here, writing this, because comedy has quite literally taken over. Not completely, I still love my music, but enough for me to attend two comedy gigs in the same month and to go insane when Joe Lycett and Nish Kumar viewed my Instagram stories a few months ago 💀
So, wether you know this stuff already, or wether you're simply curious, this book has it all! So grab a pack of jelly babies, crack open a can of Dr. Pepper, and grab your cold lasagne out of the fridge, because we're in for a wild ride! Don't worry newcomers, those references will be explained 😂
And remember: when in doubt, at least you haven't had to resort to using a Fab ice lolly as a Dip Dab dipper like James Acaster did. Barrett really screwed him over with that one.
