The story start from the noon as usual schedule day of Sonakshi in the office. As she enters the office everyone starts to greet her, replying few back she heads to her cabin. "Aaj ek tech company ke sath meeting haina", she questioned her PA.
PA:- Yes ma'am Mr Dev Dixit ke sath hai .
Sona:- Mr Dev Dixit? Yeh wahi hai jinhone aate hi market mein aag lagadi.
PA:- Yes ma'am and they will be coming to the office in an hour.
Sona:- Okay you can leave.
Sonakshi while returning back to the office with her meal for which she longed since morning. She didn't realise and bumped into a man, all of her food was all over on the man.
Man:- Meri meeting hain 5mins mein, what do I do now ? Excuse me Miss ? Chalne ki tamiz nhi hai toh ghar pe baithna sikhiye.
Sona:- Oh hello! Baat karne ki tamiz nhi hai toh chup rehna sikhiye and it was all your fault.
Man:- Kya matlab? Yeh saari meri galti hai ?
Sona:- Ji haan ! Pehli baat yeh front facing accident tha for you, ek toh aap phone use kar rahe the and uske baad apni galti bhi except nhi kar sakte aur meeting sirf aapki nhi hain.
Man:- Fine, let's not waste time dekhiye aap meri help kijiye aur main aapki karunga
Sona:- What do you mean by help?
Man:- Aapko mere yeh kapde ek professional meeting ke liye suitable lag rahe hai?
Sona:- Oh! I think I can help you. This way.
Sonakshi takes the man to her old cabin and try to find some clothes. She opens a cupboard and everything was about to fall she was about to fall but the man held her. She starts to blush as the man was shirt less because he was trying to clean his clothes. Sonakshi clears her throat:- Thanks and here you have this. Sonakshi shows a coat suit to the man, This is what I can give you. The man thanks her and changes his clothes. He again thanks Sonakshi and both leave for their meetings.
Sonakshi enters the meeting room and was surprised by seeing the man she gave clothes to and man feels the same as he sees Sonakshi. They both were having a meeting with a common partner Mr Gujral. Mr Gujral introduce them to each other.
Sona:- Hi Mr Dev Dixit, with a handshake. Dev:- Hi, nice to meet you let's start.
They had a one hour meeting on how technology can help nutritional guidance reach the poor and unaware people. The meeting gets over Mr Gujral leaves the room by saying:- Okay, So thank you Miss Bose, I will take your leave now you both can sign the deal, Bye!
Sonakshi and Dev in her cabin waiting for papers to get ready. Sonakshi calls her PA to get her particular meal. Few minutes later PA calls back and tell her that it's not available. Sonakshi hang up the call and gets disappointed by the hunger.
Dev:- Ab meri baari hai aapki help karne ki toh agar papers ready hone mein abhi time hai toh kya aap mere saath lunch karna pasand karengi.
Sona:- Ahh.. let me ask. She calls her PA. Yeah papers are done printing bas 2mins mein aa jayege.
Dev:- But are you sure you want to sign?
Sona:- Sorry but what does that mean agar main interested nahi hoti toh apna lunch chhod ke meeting na attend karti.
Dev:- Of course, but I mean to say ki hume ek-dusre ko janna chahiye, hume requirements or pasand napasand ke baare mein pta hona chahiye taki yeh deal aur bhi mazboot ho.
Sona:- Your point make sense so what would you like to have?
Dev:- Bahar ka khana toh sab khaate hain aapne kabhi ghar ka khaya hai, I mean aap har roz khaati hongi but..
Sona:- Nahi ! 2 saal pehle khaya tha tab se lekar aaj tak ya toh khud banati hun ya phir restuarants.
Dev:- Meri maa hamesha kehti hai jinke saath mein kaam karta hai unko kabhi ghar bulaya kar but har koi familiar nahi lagta and mere Ghar mere alawa aur koi male nahi so sabko aapse milke achha lage ga.
Sona:- You think I'm familiar? I would love to meet, toh chale ?
Dev and Sonakshi reaches his home. Dev walk towards his mother.
Dev:- Maa yeh meri nayi business partner hai, lunch par aayi hai tu dekhle na important hai deal sign karni hai abhi.
Sonakshi greets Ishwari by touching her feets.
Ishwari:- Arre beta ! Aaj ke samay mein aap pao chhukar aashirwad lene mein vishwas rakti hain.
Sona:- Aunty ji aaj ho ya kal yeh toh humara culture hai iss par toh hume garv hona chahiye.
Ishwari with a smile:- aajao main khana paros deti hun.
As soon as they starts to eat Sonakshi start questioning Dev about business and work, everytime Dev stops eating while answering her. Ishwari somehow didn't like the way Sonakshi was disturbing Dev while eating. After the lunch -
Sona:- Aunty ji mujhe aapse yeh umeed nahi thi...ki aap mujhe pehli baar mein apne khaane ka fan bana lengi.
Ishwari:- Toh phir roz aajaya Karo Dev ke saath.
Dev:- Maa...
Sonakshi with a smile:- Aunty ji aapka jab mann kare tab main aap se Milne aa jaya karungi aur waise bhi ab toh hum partners banane wale hain.
Dev's youngest sister returns from the college. She runs towards Sonakshi, grab her hand in joy and take rounds around when Dev stops her. Nikki misunderstands Sonakshi as Dev's girlfriend and says
Nikki:- Finally! Mere bhaiya ki life mein hum charo ke alawa koi toh aaya and bhaiya bhi achhe bacche ki tarah aapko Maa se milwane le aaye.
Dev annoyingly says:- Nikki Kya bol rahi hai tu? Business partner hai woh meri.
Sona interrupts :- Life partner nahi.
Sonakshi smilling all the time again interrupts Dev while he tries to apologise.
Sonakshi:- No ! It's okay aise bade bade shehro mein chhoti chhoti galatfehmiya hoti rehti hai and side hugs Nikki. Sonakshi's PA calls her. Sona:- Mr Dixit let's go papers ready hain.
Both leaves the Ishwari Niwaas.
Both sign up the papers and lock the deal.
Sona:- Ab aap mere hue. Dev stare her with awkwardness. Sona:- I mean..for the time being..iss deal ke liye.
Both shake hands and thank each other, Dev leaves for his office.
