Birthday (Aaron's birthday)

Ella/Juliette pov 

Today was my husband's birthday and I really wanted to make it special since I know Aaron has never properly celebrated his birthday with the people he loves. Just the thought of him never celebrating his birthday made me sad so I was determined this birthday special.

It was 1am and I made sure to put Aaron to bed and then get out of bed to do the decorations downstairs.An hour later Kenji came over with the cake and balloons and started to help me with the decorations. 

It was now 3 am and me and Kenji are done with the decorations.I start to cook his favourite foods while Kenji went to his house to pic up the puppy.

I realised that I needed to get Aaron when I saw Aaron looking longing at something ( which at first I thought was some girl) which was our neighbours new puppy.After the a day before Aaron's birthday I picked up our tiny golden Retriever puppy and gave him to Kenji to take care of since I did not want Aaron to know about the puppy.Nazeera however did not enjoy having the puppy in their houses as apparently she was coughing up for balls from the amount he sheds.

We all know Aaron wakes up at 5 am so we only had 15 minutes left to set up the cake and food . After all of the stress we were finally done and we turned the lights off and sat on the sofa as we waited for Aaron to wake up.

Aaron pov:

I woke up and saw that Ella was gone.My heart shattered.I guess that this is going to be as bad as all of my previous birthdays.I tried to keep my tears to myself as I remember my birthday "presents"from my dad.The I remember the little ring I had gotten from my mum when she was alive.I miss her so much.She was the only person that overloaded me as a kid.

I thought to myself as I decided to go look for Ella.

" Ella,love where are you? " I called out to my wife as I look around.

Suddenly the lights switch on and I hear a large amount of voices scream"SUPRISE.Happy birthday. "

My eyes start to gloss over as I look over to my friends who were holding ballons.

 " Thanks everyone. " I said as I went over and hugged eveyone ( including Adam).

Ella was jumping up and down as she told me to start opening my presents.I first picked up a box from Kenji that first had a box of condoms in with a not that read ' please use these I really am not prepared to see mini Earners running around '. I laugh and give Kenji a hug.He then told me to look in the box for the real present which was a silver chain that matched my golden one.

Next I opened a box from Nazeera which had a book which taught you how to write in Arabic.I really appreciated that since I could only speak Arabic not write it.

After that I opened a box from Adam with an apology card and a little statue of a golden retriever dog which I loved.I daydReam a hug and apologised to him too.

Next I got a cool friendship bracelet from James that had a matching one on his hand.He then gave me a picture of me and him which I told him to go out on the fridge.

I then noticed that Ella was go so I asked where she was.

 " She just went to the toilet.Don't worry. " said Nazeera to me.

After 2 minutes Ella came back with a puppy in her arms.At this point tears were streaming down my eyes as she put the puppy in my arms.It instantly snuggled into me and I kissed it's head.

 "Hey there buddy." I said as I sat down with him in my arms. 

 " What is his name? " I asked as I played with the puppy.

 " Floof." Kenji replied as he see at the puppy.

 "No that is only Kenjis nickname for him.He is yours to name babe." Said Ella 

 I smile at her and said" his name is pumkin. "

He remained me of when my mum would carve a pumpkin and put me in it as a toddler so I though to was the perfect name.

Everyone laughed.

 " Lets eat in hungry. " Kenji whined as we all went to the dining room.

Ella had made all of my favourite foods and made me a nice batch of cookies.Everyone laughed as I ate a burger with my fork and knife.Kenji tried to do this but miserable failed as he mange to fling a bit of his burger across the room.Pumpkin saw this and instantly inhaled the bite of food.Pumpkin stared at me as I ate so I decided to go wash of the sauce on the BBQ chicken and give it to Pumpkin.It had no batter on it so it was fine for him to eat.

Next we all ate some cookies ( I obviously ate mine with a fork) and then we played some board games. 

Ella yelled for us to come to the dining table to cut the cake.I have never cut a cake in my life for my birthday so this made me tear up.James and Adam came and gave me a hug until Nazeera ca!e with a knife for me to use to cut the cake.

They all sang happy birthday as I cut the cake.I then shoved  pieces of cake in everyone's faces and we all laughed as Kenji tried to steal Nazeeras peice.After we all ate the cake Ella came back with a cupcake for pumpkin which I gave to me instantly. 

After all of that me and the others sat on the sofa and watched some movies.Pumpkin rested his head on my legs as Ella rested hers on my shoulder.

At that moment I knew I was with my real family
