A/N: I'm not entirely sure how I was able to corporate the chill aspect but I hope I did good.

It was in the middle of the afternoon, after a long and fierce battle between the Order and Chaos Empire. All the fallen units were left to decompose and rot in the rugged ground. The wounded units where healed by the Merics as they continued to trot forth, now alongside Princess Shade.

As the sun sets on the horizon, Shade squinted as she puts a hand over her eyes seeing the sky darkening above them. She turned to her comrades and said. "It is growing dusk, we'll have to set up camp here for a while." The units nod, one of them dropping the cart that had the Order Empire statue ontop. Some of the Miners started to gather supplies for the tents, the Swordwraths and Speartons were collecting branches and sticks for firewood, Archidons and Shadowraths where hunting a couple of animals for food, and Merics and Magikills were trying to start a fire.

Everything was peaceful in the woods.

Maybe a little too peaceful to anyone's liking.

[Name] was an Eclipsor. Being in the Chaos Empire was quite rough, considering how harsh Medusa and the Marrowkai were. Or at least, Medusa was as she had died during the Great War and is now used as a trophy for the King's sick amusement.

Not long ago, the Chaos Empire was alerted that the Order Empire had trespassed the perimeters. So they had to defend a part of their homeland to warn the opponents of what was coming. Unfortunately, despite their greatest efforts, the monsters had to flee to another part of the Chaos Empire as they had lost.

Despite their attempts to try to regain their homeland, fighting wasn't going to cut through their thick skulls. As much as [Name] tried to convince the others to maybe talk it out or to negotiate with them, the Bombers and Eclipsors just either scoffed or cackled at the idea of it.

They think that trying to bargain or to convince the Order Empire would make things easier is a cowardly thing to do.

"Are you mad [Name]?! Talking things out will never benefit them and us!" One Bomber would say with a cackle.

"Oh how Medusa would be disappointed with such a mindset as yourself." An Eclipsor would say with disappointment, shaking it's head.

Now [Name] was perching on ontop of a branch of a tree, staring at the camp the Order Empire had made. They sighed as the remarks of their peers were still echoing through their head. Suddenly, a person caught their eye.

The person was sharpening her swords outside tent, staring in deep thought. The Eclipsor assumed that she was probably the leader.

'You know, maybe it wouldn't be too hard to convince her to stop trespassing our territory. Who knows? Maybe they'll find a better route instead.' [Name] thought to themselves. It was possibly the dumbest assumption they've ever made.

They got off the branch they perched on and glided torwards the woman's camp. The woman noticed, though she didn't look too pleased and started to spin her swords around and posed for battle. 'Shit.' They thought to themselves in a panic.

Shade glared at the Eclipsor as they descended onto the ground. "If you're here to ambush us, then you have a death wish, Eclipsor." The monster put their hands up defensively, folding their wings back and realizing that this was probably gonna be a little difficult."Hold on, I am not here to fight or to ambush. I just want to negotiate." The Eclipsor would them gesture to themselves. "I don't have my bow, see?"

Shade looked a little skeptical still. "How do I know you're not here to stab me in the back when I turn around?"

The Eclipsor sighed and folded their arms. "Look I'm not here to fight, I can if I would but I'm giving you an opportunity to make things easier. Just listen to me." They said, practically begging the Princess to listen.

She sighed and puts away her swords, looking at them with a raised eyebrow. "You have five minutes before I call the others to pin you down and skin you alive."

They gulped before speaking up. "Look, I know you all are trespassing our perimeters to find a good route, but it'll be much easier if you turn around and find a different road to walk in."

Her eyes pierced the very bane of your existence and you're probably wondering if this conversation was going anywhere. "Unless you know a better route for us." She said. "Then we're taking the route we're going in now."

The [Name]'s eyebrows furrowed before their eyes widened, realizing there is another route. "Well, there is one. It's alot longer, but it will definitely be far away from our Empire. Hopefully. Trust me there are less of us there and you will save more of your units." They said before they started telling her the directions to the new route the group can head to.

Shade's eyes would then get lost in deep thought, putting a hand under her chin while doing so. "I suppose that will suffice." She turned to look at [Name], nodding. "You have yourself a deal."

The Eclipsor's eyes would light up, even though they are in the night sky. "Deal it is!" They grinned, putting their hands on their back. In the corner of their eye, they saw one Archidon staring at the two with squinted eyes as he grabbed an arrow from their quiver. He's going to shoot [Name].

Their eyes grew wide. "Well look at the time, I suppose I better leave now!" The Eclipsor started to run as fast as they could, not giving Shade any second to talk as they take flight with quick speed.

The Archidon ran torwards her, still clutching the bow and arrow. "Princess! Are you hurt?"

Shade looked at the Archidon and shook her head. "I am alright, though we'll might have to find a different route. This...monster you just found had told me of a route we'll be heading to instead."

The Archidon looked to her. "Were you gullible enough to listen to it?"

"Not really, but it did entertain me quite a bit." She said.

"I don't think it's wise to listen to an Eclipsor, it'll poison your mind." He said.

"I don't listen to such childish matters." She said. "I think it's best for us to eat. It will do us some good, we have a long day for tomorrow after all."

"Yes, Princess." The Archidon bowed before heading back.

Shade looked off to the direction the Eclipsor flew away in, sighing as she tried to take in the situation. "I do wonder if there is some truth to what it said..." She said to herself before walking off to eat with the others.
