Love at first sight

It's been a few hours since Taehyung went to lunch. You figured he got dragged into something else. Which was great for you. You finished with all the gift bags Ms. Choi tasked you with. You looked at your watch and figured it would be a perfect time to get Taehyung's grocery list. You grab your purse and exit the conference room. " are you done for the day?" You look up to see yoongi standing with a coffee. You smile he looks like he just woke up with his bed head and sleepy eyes. " no I need to go run an errand , you look like you're trying to stay awake." You laugh pointing at his hair. You don't miss the way his cheeks turn red. " oh yeah I fell asleep again , it's going to be a long night for me." " if you need anything let me know." " thanks y/n . I uhm appreciate that." He smiles at you hoping that you'll return his smile. When you do his heart flutters. What's wrong with him , he thinks ." that's what I'm here for ." You smile walking away.

Taehyung returns to the conference room. He doesn't see you anywhere so he decides to call you . No answer. " she left like thirty minutes ago." Taehyung turns to yoongi's voice. " you're like a sneaky little cat hyung. I didn't even hear you." He says with a laugh but yoongi doesn't laugh , he stands at the door frame with his arms crossed eyeing Taehyung up and down. " are you ok hyung? " I'm fine." Yoongi answers quickly. He's still trying to figure out what the younger man is up to. He knows Taehyung is a flirt, he flirts with every new assistant but something about you being assigned to him feels different. " I'll get going then , I think Jimin wanted me to watch him dance or something." Taehyung just needed to get out of there he could feel the tension rising and he's scared he might slip and expose himself. " I thought y/n was personally assigned to you?" " hyung she's not exactly here. Unless you're hiding her?" " why would I do that? Why would you even ask that?" Yoongi says in a panic. Taehyung laughs. " hyung relax it was a joke." Taehyung moves past yoongi. He knows he needs to act normal he can feel yoongi staring at him he rounds the corner and lets out a huge breath . He doesn't know if he can do this anymore . He can't choose sides.

You return and hour later with Taehyung's items her requested.  " I wonder where he is?" You say to yourself. You pull out your phone to text him when you noticed he already texted you saying he was with jimin and will be back within the hour. Ms Choi walks in the conference room . She looks  jumpy this can't be good. " oh y/n good you're here." " is everything ok Ms. Choi? " she's holding her tablet scrolling missing what you just said. " Ms. Choi?" " oh sorry dear I was just finalizing something , anyways the boys have an interview tomorrow it was a last minute thing , with a surprise performance. " you nod she's talking so fast you can feel your head spin. " I hate to ask you to stay late , I saw in your file you were a seamstress, would you mind helping  getting the boys outfits and making sure they're in great order?" " of course! Do you have their measurements." " yes I do! I'll email you the measurements and it the design room their names will be labeled."  Perfect!  I'll head over there now." " oh also here's the list of the interview questions if you could call the producers of the show and just finalize them. They've been approved by namjoon   and manager's . " yes don't worry about this Ms. Choi" " thank you y/n I'll check back in with you later." She smiles and walks out of the conference room. "Poor lady" you say to yourself. " she gets paid rather well." Taehyung says with a chuckle. You look up and smile " I just mean this last minute interview and appearance has her on edge." " she has a great team of assistants to help her so I know she has some sort of relief." He smiles sitting down on the chair. " what's that you got there? " " it's the list of interview questions that were finalized." Taehyung picks up the paper and reads off the interview questions. " sounds like Namjoon wrote them." You laugh " you know your friend well." You stand up. Tae eyes the bags behind you . " oh you went to the store already?" " yeah I had some free time between your lunch. " you're awesome y/n I'll have my driver take them home . I'm going to be here awhile longer. I don't need you for anything else so you can help Ms. Choi as needed." " thanks Tae but if you do need anything I'm here." You smile and that pings something in Tae's heart he loves your smile.
