A voice protrudes from the darkness, a quiet, yet soothing voice "This seems to be the fate this world faced. It's a shame, everybody trusted you to stop it, but I'll give you one more try." A male body slowly emerges from the vast sea of shadow, covered in cuts, short messy black hair, muscular build, a mole on the right side of his face under his lip, and he looks about 22 . A dark black hand with long pointy fingernails slowly emerges and touches the male's chest and in an instant he is sent flying through a seeming hole in time, waking up in his bed. He shoots out of bed with a shocked expression on his face, he mumbles to himself. "Those stupid dreams are back." He picks up his phone and unlocks it, his left eye hurts a lot but it's fine as he can see. He gets a message from a contact on his phone named Tomasi ''Hey Gale you still up for tonight?" he considers not responding but types swiftly "yeah, see you at 6", Gale puts down his phone and rubs his face feeling weird itchy spots all over, he goes to his bathroom and looks in the mirror and seems fine. He takes a quick shower and gets changed into a greenish blue shirt and some baggy light gray sweat-pants, he looks at his left hand to see a slash down it, like somebody stabbed a knife on the upper side of his wrist and pulled it up. "What the fuck.." Gale was off put but he just continued getting ready, he went to feed his cat but couldn't find her, he looked everywhere for Visci but couldn't find her, abruptly she launches herself at Gales leg in a playful manner but he pushes her away while laughing "Jeez where were you, don't ever do that again okay?" Gale says with a smile looking at Visci. "I'm going for a walk okay? I'll be back in a bit." he pets Visci's head and she pushes up into the pet with a small meow.
Gale walks out and locks the door. The apartments beside him looked rather quiet for the time of day, Gale did sleep in after all so it wasn't rush hour as when he usually wakes up, but even so a sinking feeling was still weighing on him, where did he get that cut? Why did his left eye hurt? What was that dream about? A feeling of uneasiness hit him but he continued down his regular walking route. He turns down to walk by the river alley and took the wooden stairs down to the main path, walking past a few people he waves and smiles, and they do the same, while walking he notices a path he hasn't walked down before. As he walks down it he trips on the root of a tree taking a tumble a couple feet forward, when he picks himself up he sees an out of place rock on the ground, he picks up the purplish-black stone, its fairly small, about the size of a bottle cap. When he picks it up a sinking feeling encapsulates him, like he's being watched, but yet he feels he needs this stone, a feeling of fear rushes through him as he puts the stone in his pocket and rushes back home but notices the people he's walking past are no longer smiling at him, but giving him looks of fear, like he wasn't human. He gets to his apartment complex and he tries to get in as fast as possible, when he unlocks his door, Visci immediately starts hissing at him. The sinking feeling gets worse and worse by the minute, he grabs the stone from his pocket and stares at it for a minute contemplating whether it was the cause for this. He immediately dismisses it though as he feels crazy for even entertaining the thought that this stone caused his bad luck but even then he still feels off about it, he puts it back in his pocket and tries to tame Visci but she just runs away. He eventually gives up and sits down to watch a show, he flips through a few shows about true crime, mystery, samsaras, gardening, and eventually settles on an action show about a man avenging his friends death, Gale eventually gets captivated for a few hours but realizes he has just 2 hours before meeting up with Tomasi.
Gale grabs his gym bag and darts out the door and rushes to the gym, on the way people still give him the weird look but he's getting better at ignoring it. Once he gets to the gym he scans his card and starts to train, Gale notices immediately that all his muscles are sore despite yesterday being a rest day, he pushes through despite that and finishes his workout with 30 minutes to spare before meeting up with Tomasi, He gets changed and runs back home and gets into a black shirt that highlights his muscular build and puts on some gray sweats again, he sees the rock on his dresser while getting changed and picks it up shoving it in his pocket and walking out the door.
