Keefe and Amy found themselves back in the bedroom, everyone dumbstruck. "I think it worked." Amy and Keefe said at the same time. As soon as everyone processed, Elwin and Mr. Forkle ran to the bed, where they found a moving Sophie. "Is she going to wake up?" A quiet Errol asked, walking behind Emma. "Can everyone except Keefe and Mr. Forkle please leave," Elwin asked, not able to look away from Sophie.
Once the room was cleared, they just had to wait, and wait, until finally, her eyes opened. "Where am I?" she asked, as Elwin RAN to get a cold compress for her, "Try not to ask to many questions right now, we should explain." Keefe said, sitting on the side of her bed, and they began to talk.
Almost an hour later, the Foster kids were finally able to come see their mom. They all ran in to see her as soon as the door opened, and Elwin and Mr. Forkle left to let them have some time.
That evening, Elwin made Sophie have a dozen elixirs, and while she was (trying) to drink all of them, Elwin gave Keefe a lesson on how to help Sophie, daily medications, checkups, and to TELL HIM if Sophie needed help. And finally, Elwin left at 10pm that night, and was going to come back at 12 the next day to check on her.
Sophie was on bedrest for the 2 days, but it didn't stop Keefe from jumping into the bed where Sophie was once he put the kids back to bed. She couldn't help but laugh. "Oh how I have MISSED this!" Keefe joked, trying to steal her pillow, "HEY! There are MULTIPLE pillows here!" Sophie said, grabbing a pillow and slapping him with the pillow. That was a great night for everyone.
That is the end of her mind break! (for now)
