"So how was it?"

Hermione was interrupted from her work by a question from her best friend Daphne.

"Im sorry?" Hermione asked, looking over at Daphne.

"How was the date last night?" Daphne asked again with a smirk.

They along with some other friends were cleaning and getting the equipment ready for another day at the caffe. Hermione was scrubbing the counter and Daphne was cleaning a blender.

"Fine." Hermione answered quickly, looking back down to the counter.

"Really? Just fine? I don't know about you, but when I have a 'fine' date I don't stand around wiping the same spot on the counter for 10 minutes with a big goofy smile." Ginny teased, who was nursing a coffee while sat on the ledge.

Hermione's eyes widened as she realized she'd been stood there for awhile scrubbing the same area. She let out a small laugh and looked up at her friends.

"It was amazing. He was so nice and such a gentleman, and he looked so handsome, and he gave me his coat." She said, while motioning over to the coat hanging in the back in Hermione's locker.

"And he smelled nice, and he was funny, and he listened to-"

The girls laughing cut off her sentence. Puzzled, she looked over at them and saw them all smiling and giggling.

"I've never heard you speak like this before Mione." Angelina said, behind Hermione. Hermione, who hadn't heard her enter, jumped at the new voice. Angelina was the manager here and had snuck in during Hermione's sentence.

"I can't wait to hear what Harry has to say when he comes in later." Ginny teased.

"Don't you dare interrogate him!" Hermione said, looking at the girls.

They all just stuck their hands up and smirked.

"Ok stop harassing her guys, let her breathe a moment." Daphne said finally.

Hermione smiled over at her friend again and moved over to the register. Standing in front of it her mind began to wander again back to him.

His jet black hair styled with all of its curls and waves framing his face. His smirk when he thought of a joke and his laugh when he told it. His bright emerald eyes shining in the light, but also hidden behind his adorable wire framed glasses. His chiseled jaw and bright smile and-.

"Hello."

Hermione's thoughts again were interrupted by a sudden voice coming from in front of her. Looking up in alarm to tell the customer they weren't open yet was shut down as she saw who stood there.

"Harry?" Hermione asked, her eyes widening at the man stood ahead of her. He smiled at her widely and did a mock bow, while also holding something behind his back.

"The one and only." He replied.

"What are you doing here so early? You are hours early?" She asked him, her smile brightening the room. Behind her she could hear laughter but she didn't care at the moment.

Suddenly he got nervous, using his free hand to wipe his brow. Looking up at her, he smiled a shy smile and revealed his hand from behind his back. Holding an bouquet of flowers, he offered it to her.

"I didn't know which were your favorites so I got the one with the most variety." He said, handing it over to her.

Hermione took it from his hand and lifted it to her nose to smell. Lowering them, she smiled brightly at him, her cheeks red and eyes shining.
