Digging the surface (part 2)

- pheobe and skylar's room -

Now that pheobe had been taken to school, skylar was all on her own, and she had to find somewhere to hide all on her own. And it was about to be proven to be more difficult than she imagined.

The young girl was steadily pacing around her room, attempting to come up with a plan
"What to do, what to do?".

Then suddenly, she came up with a place to hide
"Wait, she surely won't check in Logan's room if I'm missing!".

Skylar quickly jumped up in excitement and burst out of her room, and hopped her way over to Logan's door, hoping to just easily open it. Only for it to be locked
"are you fucking kidding me?".

Just before she could turn back, Shane stood infront of her with the key to Logan's door
"Want this?".

Skylar squealed in excitement
"Oh my god! Thank you Shane! Your the best".

Shane lifted the key up onto a shelf out of skylar's reach
"And you thought you were getting it?".

Skylar pleaded
"Oh please Shane! I neeed it!".

Shane smirked
"Oh yeah? What for?".

Skylar replied, smiling
"To hide from mum!".

Shane played with the keys in his hand
"If you really want these keys, you'll need a better excuse".

Skylar began to bribe Shane
"Well don't you want some new games or something?".

Shane scoffed, laughing at skylar's faking puppy dog eyes
"And what's that supposed to mean?".

Skylar pointed to Logan's keys
"Well if you let me in, you'll get all of the video games you want! And even better, I won't even snitch on you!".

Shane rolled his eyes, while gripping the keys even tighter
"I'm still not helping you, and either way, I've played all of his games".

"Your loss then!"
Skylar jumped up and grappled herself onto Shane's hand, attempting to steal the keys.

Shane bashed skylar's head into the wall, causing her to fall onto the floor
"Fuck off you whore".

Skylar tried to get back up, but she noticed the keys were right in front of her, indicating that Shane had dropped them.

"Oh no you don't!"
Shane stood onto skylar's hand, with her screaming in pain.

Skylar yelled
"AHHHHHHH".

Just before Shane could pick up the keys, skylar used her healthy leg to kick him in the balls, and grab the keys.

Shane tried grabbing onto skylar's leg, but he was in too much pain to move
"OW! YA FUCKA".

Skylar quickly unlocked the door and burst into Logan's room, but also not forgetting to lock it behind her.

Skylar peered around the room to understand her surroundings. Logan was still asleep in his queen sized bed, but there was almost no hiding spaces apart from behind the bed.
"Well shit.".
