Prologue 2: Quirkless 2

No PoV

(Y/N) and Izuku were walking home. (Y/N) seemingly pissed off, which was rare for anyone too see, Izuku was genuinely concerned but stayed quiet out of shame. 

"(Y/N)... I've been thinking." He said, looking at the ground. (Y/N) looked at him concerned and confused due to Izuku's vocal tone being sad and concerned. "Maybe I should give up on being a hero..."

"DON'T YOU DARE!" (Y/N) screamed, Izuku looked at his friend slighty. (Y/N) gritted his teeth and stood infront of his friend. "Just because you're quirkless, just because that asshole bullies you. That doesn't matter! Being a hero isn't about flashy powers!" (Y/N) poked Izuku gently in the chest, right over his heart. "What matters is what is in your heart. Remember those old comics my dad would show us, about the Man who flew around in a suit of armor, or the WW2 soldier who was injected with a super serum because of his heart. Those are real heros, before neither of them had powers, but what they had was a will to help others, no matter the cost of themselves." 

Izuku looked at his friend, tears building up in his eyes. "Izuku, You can be a hero!"

(Y/N) grinned at his bestfriend, a sincere smile formed on his face. "I will help you get there!" 

Izuku whipped his tears away and smiled, they had reached a bridge, the same bridge they met for the first time at. "Thank's (Y/N), you always know what to say."

"It's my job after all. I can train you, build up your body, maybe then, you can enter UA. Cause right now..." (Y/N) sweatdropped and glanced over his friend. "You would not make it in."

"That's kinda harsh (Y/N)." Izuku frowned, but he saw the truth in it. He always had, he knew he needed to get stronger to enter UA. Or any Hero course, but the constant bullying over the years, It dissheartened him. (Y/N) knew this and placed a hand on his shoulder. 

"You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender yourself to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something we give ourselves." (Y/N) said with a smile, not breaking his hold on his friend. "That is the meaning of inner strength."

Izuku nodded and seemed to be cheerful. (Y/N) waved by and started on his path home, Izuku remained where they just were, reflecting on what his friend said. He looked at the sky and smiled before walking into the tunnel, heading to his home. 

(Y/N) House

"I'm home!" He stated, walking into the house while taking his shoes off. His little sister came running up to him, she had white hair and faint black highlights, her eyes were a darker green than his were.
