AU#4 What if Jinx/Powder x fem reader

*A FEW YEARS PAST*
*BEFORE THE MISSION*

I was getting ready for the mission that we were going to be going on I was in the room with Powder making sure we have everything that we needed she's coming along on this mission so I wanted to make sure I had everything just in case

"(y/n) I need to talk to you for a minute" I looked at the door to see Vi I gave her a nod as I put a hand on Powder shoulder "i'll be back and I won't be gone for long" I went outside the room with Vi to talk

"on this mission I don't want you to leave Powder I understand when we're in the building but other than that I don't want you leaving her side" I gave her smile "you won't have to worry I won't let her out of my sight ones until were in the building or if I need to cause a discretion to get her away and get them focus on me" I turned around and head back in the room but before I did I turn my head to look at her "you didn't have to tell me this I won't let anything bad happen to her not as long as I live"

*ON THE MISSION*

We were climbing up the building to get to the top of Piltover Vi was in front then Powder next was Claggor then Mylo I was behind everyone else making sure no one was following us

"hey Powder" I looked up to see Powder was struggling to get up but managed "come take a look at this" I knew that Vi always wanted Powder to be happy no matter what

I could hear them talking but couldn't make out what they were saying I was just finally getting up as a airship or blimp whatever they're called it flew above my head it made me smile some as I got up all the way walking over to the others

"one day I'm gonna ride in one of those thing" Powder sounded determined as she turned around looking at me "and you're gonna be coming with me (n/n)" Powder threw her arms around me hug me as I smiled at the nickname she gave me I don't know why she gave me that nickname she just said she liked it and that it was one of her favorite things so it's suited me "and one day I'm gonna shoot one of them down" I put my head on Powder shoulder as she let me go as Mylo did a finger gun "with what aim you have more luck shooting a can but even that's too much sometimes" I heard Powder started to giggle a little as Vi pushed Mylo arm

"Vi are you sure about this what if we get caught" we got down to the edge of the building and jump down on another roof "we're not gonna get caught" I jump down before Powder and stressed out my arms to catch her and help her down "thanks" I put her down on the roof as I grabbed her Hans making sure that she was close to "no problem just stay close I don't want you to fall wildflower" I started to call her wildflower for multiple reasons one she's pretty like one two she's as wild as she can be so it just made sense to me

"Will be in and out before anyone notices" we got to the edge of the building again this time we had a jump across a gap

"all right everyone follow me... don't let down" Vi slid down a little well more like jumped and landed on the gutter bending it a little she grabbed the roof of the balcony that was there and swung her self a little to stand on the edge of the balcony holding the railing she wasted no time to jump to the other side

I kept Powders hand in mind I could tell that she was scared Claggor tried to go but Mylo stopped him and walked forwards going next instead of jumping down like Vi did he put his hand on the roof and slid down some landing on the gutter then grabbed the balcony roof and land on the railing of the balcony he got down to the edge of the balcony he turned himself around and push himself off the railing jumping over

as he was doing all that Claggor followed him almost immediately after him I noticed that he grabbed a cupcake I believe so anyway from the balcony then jumped "couldn't we at least just walked there" Claggor still had some food in his mouth for as he talked "we got to stay out of sight for this one" Vi looked up at me and Powder

Powder was holding onto me scared for her life as I was trying to calm her down

"call it this is on you Vi" before anyone else could say anything I yelled "shut it Mylo this is her first time doing something like this" I turned my attention back to Powder trying to calm her down again

"it's all right look at me I promise you're not gonna fall I'm here and so is Vi neither one of us will let you fall" Powder just buried her head in my chest "Powder look at me" Powder looked over at Vi as I was rubbing her back trying to calm her down "what did I tell you" you couldn't see it but I felt that she was shaking "that... I'm ready" she still had a tight grip on me "that's right so" Vi as trying to convince her that she could do it but she still held onto me "how about we make a deal" she looked me in the eyes as I push some of her hair behind her ear "if you do this i'll take you to my secret place again tonight once everyone else is asleep do we have a deal" I saw that powders eyes lit up a little as she gave me a nod "deal" she let go of me and walked over letting out a breath of air

I watched her get closer to the edge I jumped forward once she fell down she didn't slide no nothing like that she just stepped off I ran to the edge to watch over her luckily she got to the gutter stepping on it and jumped over to the balcony and grabbing the roof landing on the railing I let out of breath of air and put a hand over my heart she turned around and grab the railing to step down she grabbed both sides of the railing to push herself off she made it on the roof but stumbled a bit falling backwards I was about to jump over before Vi caught her by her wrist Powder look at Vi "thanks" Vi pulled her up Powder almost fell again but caught onto Vi she turned around to look at me
