AU#4 What if Jinx/Powder x fem reader

I leaned against Mylo a bit and whispered "Thanks for waiting with me." He smiled a little bit as we both sat there watching the rope. Mylo it's like my brother, my dumb ass idiot, brother I started to consider him my brother when I was around I want to say six I don't know why, but he just has like that brotherly attitude to me. I also started to consider him my brother when he started teaching me stuff.

FLASHBACK

Me and Mylo, we are the only two at the last drop Craggor went with Vander to Benzo to see Ekko as Vi and wildflower were out getting something to eat the bar was close as me and Mylo. We're just sitting on the couches where we normally stay. I was reading my book, minding my own business as Mylo was messing with his lock picker m as he had different locks he was trying to get open, it's what he does in his free time.

I finished the book I was reading, and was going to head upstairs to get a new one, when my eyes shifted to the locks without realizing what I was doing, I reached out and grabbed one of the locks looking at it, not knowing he was looking at me "that one's kinda difficult to do" I looked up at him before setting the lock back down and was about to get off the couch I was sitting on before he got up and moved over to me and handed me another lock and his lock picker "this one should be a little easier" I looked at it a little hesitant before sticking the lock picker in the lock, and started to move it around but after 15 minutes I still haven't got it and I let out of frustrated sigh "ahhhh this makes no sense." I put the lock and the picker down frustrated as Mylo just laughed and took the lock, putting it back in my hands and grabbing my hand with the picker in it. "Here let me help you." Mylo slowly started helping me turning the lock picker in the lock until we both heard a click, and it opened.

I looked at him, amazed as he laughed "it just takes a little bit to get used to it you'll get the  hang of it if you keep practicing." I smiled and close the lock, as I started to do it on my own. After about 20 minutes I finally got it open by myself. "Hey I did it" I smiled a bit as I was happy "you did a good job" we then spent the rest of the day until everyone got back messing with his locks as he was teach me how to pick them

FLASHBACK END

I smiled at the memory, not even noticing the rope was tugged two times already until Mylo got up to untie the road "alright you ready to start heading down" I smiled a bit as I got up and wrapped the rope around me so we could bring the rope with us and not leave any trace "yeah, I'm ready" Mylo smiled as we both sat down and slowly started to climb down. We both had to be very careful, because if we fall, we are either plummet to our deaths or if we're lucky we can grab hold to a pipe, but we might get some injuries.

We both made sure we were going slow, not goofing around or even talking are you both making sure we were getting on the most steady pipes and holding on to the ones above us so we didn't fall or make a mistake we were halfway down when I went to put my foot on a pipe that looked study I did check it twice to make sure it would hold my weight for a little bit even though it was rusted all these pipes are so it was a 50-50 chance but when I went to go find another place for my other foot, I started to hear the sound of rushed braking but before I could get my foot off the pipe, the one I was standing on snapped underneath me.

I quickly put my other foot on one of the pipes to make sure I wasn't going to fall but I didn't check it so the moment it started to hold onto my body weight. It snapped, making both my feet dingle, as i mumbled, "shit...." all I was holding onto was the pipes above me, but with the extra weight, since I had nothing to hold my feet anymore and the rustic pipes I was holding onto broke in my hands, making me fall "aaaaaaa" i screamed as I fell cutting my shoulder from the pipe that first broke, leaving a large gash into my shoulder.

"Y/N" Mylo quickly make sure he was in a stable place before wrapping his feet around one of the pipes and leaning back, so he was hanging upside down to grab my wrists so I wasn't falling anymore as my right shoulder had blood dripping down from the front, side, and back of it "I got you..... I got you" Mylo looked at me worried and panicked as he was holding onto me for deer life. I tried to pull myself up, but couldn't as my right shoulder with giving out because the bleeding and when I tried to just pull myself up with my left side, I would just feel a sharp pain going through my body, when my shoulder move so I bit my lip trying not to yell out in pain "mmmmmm...... Mylo please don't let go" I would be lying. If I said, I wasn't scared. I didn't want to die not now yet I think Mylo could see the fear in my eyes as he started pulling me up his right arm wrapped around my waist to pull me up as he found a little opening in the pipes to sit me down, so we can check my shoulder.

I was holding my shoulder as blood was dripping from it "I'm glad you were here" I laughed a little bit, trying to hide the pain. I was in as Mylo just shook his head "yeah, same here. let me" he went to touch my shoulder, but I took it back some at the slightest touch hurt like hell "Sorry it hurts. I don't think I can climb down." Mylo nodded his head understand that it would be more dangerous for me to come down like this "yeah you're right I would suggest we use the road but if we're not careful, especially from how some of the pipes are broken the rope could get caught plus you can't really hold onto the rope with your arm." I had my west arm wrapped around one of the pipes holding onto it for dear life, making sure I wouldn't fall "yeah...... what can't we do" I looked down knowing there was no way I could get down not like this it would be too dangerous for Mylo to carry me down with the extra weight the pipes could easily snap, especially since there rusted one wrong move, and we will both fall

"give me a moment I have an idea" I looked at him, confused as he started to climb down as he yelled up "don't go anywhere I'll be back" I shook my head as I yelled "where am I supposed to go? To fucking narnia" Mylo looked up to me and held out his middle finger  "shut up you know what I meant" I hold up my middle finger up to him We were both joking as we were both smiling a bit, trying to downplay the situation as he kept climbing down. I leaned against one of the pipes, focusing on my breathing as we didn't have anything to patch up the wound with, so I'll just be sitting there bleeding for now until he comes back
