JAMES POV
I hurriedly made my way to the cozy café where I worked part-time, my mind already racing with thoughts of the day ahead.
I quickly put on my apron and prepared to start my shift.
His disheveled hair and sweat-drenched clothes, halatang kakagaling nya sa exercise.
Like hello? Tambayan?
I approached the table, trying to maintain my composure.
The man looked up from his book, his piercing blue eyes meeting mine. "Relax, I just needed a moment to catch my breath," he replied, his voice dripping with nonchalance.
I felt my frustration growing, pero sinubukan kong manatiling kalmado. "Well, this is a café, not a resting spot. .
He smirked, clearly amused by my irritation. Aba lakas man asar nito ahhh. "Fine, I'll order something. But only because I don't want to ruin your precious day."
I rolled my eyes, not impressed by his attempt at sarcasm. "Great, what can I get you?" saad ko naman.
He leaned back in his chair, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Surprise me."
I sighed in frustration and jotted down his order on my notepad. I knocked with a passing client by mistake as I turned to go, spilling their drink all over the floor.
"Watch where you're going!" bulalas ng customer na halatang inis.
I quickly apologized for what happen. My face turning red with embarrassment.
"Looks like you're not just clumsy, but also a hazard to innocent customers," he remarked, a smug grin on his face.
My patience snapped. "Oh, please! If you hadn't been hogging the table, none of this would have happened!"
The café fell silent as our argument heated up. We argued back and forth, each blaming the other for the accident. The tension in the air was palpable, and I could feel the other customers' eyes on us.
Sa wakas aysumuko na siya. Tumayo siya bigla at naghagis ng ilang papel sa lamesa."Enjoy your day, Mr. Clumsy," binigyan niya lang ako ng ngisi at padabog na lumabas ng cafe. Nakuha niya talaga inis ko.
