"Hey, Sophie!" Aurora replied, returning the hug with equal enthusiasm.
she caught Walker's eye across the room, a warm smile spreading across his face
"Hey, Aurora," Walker greeted as she took her seat beside him. "Glad you could make it."
Aurora smiled back at him, feeling a sense of camaraderie as they prepared to dive into the script reading together.
Next to her, Lexi, who played young Juli, caught Aurora's attention with a bright smile. "Hi, Aurora I'm Lexi !" Lexi chirped, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I can't wait to work with you!"
Aurora returned Lexi's smile, feeling a wave of warmth at the young actor's enthusiasm. "Hi, Lexi! It's great to meet you," she replied, giving the younger girl a hug
"Little Blake is all grown up!" Hugh exclaimed as he approached Aurora, enveloping her in a warm hug.
Aurora beamed up at Hugh, feeling a surge of fondness for the actor she had worked with before. "Hugh!" she exclaimed, returning the hug with equal enthusiasm. "It's so good to see you again."
Hugh pulled back slightly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I can't believe how much you've grown since our days on Deadpool," he remarked, his voice filled with affection.
Aurora chuckled, feeling a sense of nostalgia wash over her at the mention of their previous collaboration. "It feels like a lifetime ago," she replied, her smile softening. "But I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with you again."
Hugh nodded, a proud smile spreading across his face. "And I'm thrilled to have you on board for this project," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "You're going to knock it out of the park, Aurora."
Aurora's heart swelled with gratitude at Hugh's words, her confidence bolstered by his unwavering support. "Thank you, Hugh," she said, her voice tinged with emotion.
"Alright, everybody, take a seat in your assigned chair, please," an unfamiliar voice announced as they entered the room.
"Greta!" Aurora mouthed, her face lighting up as she waved at the woman.
She knew Greta from one of her most recent projects, Barbie, and it was a pleasant surprise to see a familiar face among the crowd. Greta returned Aurora's wave with a warm smile, nodding in acknowledgment before proceeding to her designated seat.
Aurora couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort knowing that she wasn't alone in this new environment.
Throughout the reading, Aurora couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the talent surrounding her. Each member of the cast brought their own unique energy to the table, and she couldn't wait to see how their characters would come to life on screen.
