Aurora and Amelia sat cross-legged on Amelia's bedroom floor.

Amelia was practicing her lines, her voice filling the room with a sense of anticipation.
"You're doing great, Amelia!" Aurora exclaimed, offering her friend an encouraging smile.
Amelia beamed, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. "Thanks, Aurora! I really want to nail this audition."
Aurora nodded in agreement " and you will" her attention momentarily diverted as her phone buzzed with a new message.
She couldn't suppress the smile that crept onto her face as she read the text from Walker.
"What's got you grinning like that?" Amelia teased, noticing Aurora's sudden change in demeanor.
Aurora quickly tucked her phone away, trying to play it cool. "Oh, it's nothing," she replied, but her cheeks betrayed her attempt at nonchalance.
Amelia raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. " since when was walker a nothing "
Aurora blushed, feeling a rush of nerves at the mention of Walker's name. "Okay fine he texted me ," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Amelia leaned in closer, her interest piqued. "What's going on between you two?" she pressed, unable to contain her excitement.
"Well, three days ago, he confessed that he likes me," Aurora confessed, her heart fluttering
Amelia's eyes widened in surprise, her jaw dropping in disbelief. "No way! That's amazing, Aurora!" she exclaimed, unable to contain her excitement. "What did you say?"
Aurora felt a rush of warmth as she recalled her response to Walker's confession. "I told him that I like him too," she admitted, a shy smile tugging at her lips.
Amelia let out a squeal of delight, clapping her hands together excitedly. "Oh my gosh, this is so romantic! So you're dating now!"
Aurora couldn't help but smile at her friend's enthusiasm, but a hint of uncertainty lingered in the back of her mind. "Well, not exactly. I mean, until he officially asks me..."
Amelia's eyes widened with curiosity. "What do you mean, until he asks?" she inquired, her interest piqued.
Aurora shrugged, trying to downplay the situation. "I guess I just want it to be official, you know? Like we confessed and like we do coupley stuff but he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend and he knows this too I know for a fact he does "
Amelia grinned mischievously. "Oh, I see. Well, don't worry; he'll ask soon. I have a feeling."
Aurora chuckled nervously. "Thanks, Amelia. Anyways, how's Mr. Romeo?"
Amelia rolled her eyes playfully. "Well, unlike you, nothing has happened."
Aurora laughed. "Well, as Romeo's number one best friend, I can tell you he has a crush on you. And I've seen him in love once before; in kindergarten, he fell in love with my chocolate bar. I'll ask him for you."
