Minjeong's POV
When I confirmed that Auntie Taeng is my real mom, I didn't feel angry or any negative feelings toward her. Actually, it's the opposite side. I'm really happy knowing that she's my mom. Yes, I always wished for that and thank God because He granted my wish. I feel soblessed. There's nothing more that I could wish for. Besides, I got Jimin by my side too.
We're here in Jeju now including Jimin, Yuna, Chaeryeong, Lia, Ryujin's and Yeji. The trip was short, just an hour from Seoul by plane. Chaeryeong has a beach house here, they already prepared foods at the terrace. I was lying on my back in one of these beach lounge chairs with self standing umbrella beside me.
Anyway, Yeji and I talked about the night she kissed me. She kept on apologizing but I already forgave her. It's nothing to me and it happened, we can do nothing about it so I just shrugged it off. I tried to be distant to her because I don't want Jimin to get jealous or anything. I know, Yeji is my best friend but knowing that she have feelings for me... it's kinda awkward. I need to be distant for now.
Ryujin was here, and I know she's trying to win Yeji back. She's too obvious and outspoken to it. I was just staring at my friends, they're playing at the shore like little children. Chasing and splashing of water. I giggled, they're so happy.
But speaking of my best friend, Yeji took her seat beside me.
"Hey" She said.
"Hi, what's up?" What about being distant Kim Minjeong? Huh? But I don't want to be rude.She's still my best friend and she approached me nice.
"Good knowing that we're okay now." I glanced at her, she's looking at our friends now.
"How's Ryujin?"
"We're fine and... we're friends again. You're right, I still love her but I want to make it slow.I don't wanna rush things between us. Ryujin is so persistent to be my girlfriend again but I don't know." Yeji said as she looked at me in the eyes.
"I can see it, she's really in love with you. I think she regretted that she left you." It's real, I noticed it but I don't want to push Yeji to her. "But if you need time, just take it, I know Ryujin will wait for you."
Jessica smiled at me "But Minjeong, don't think that I'm confused about my love for you. I really did love you but don't worry I know you love Jimin, I will not interfere anymore. I want you to stay as my best friend. We're better off this way."
Inodded "Thank you Yeji" It's all l could say.
Yeji stood up and I sat up then she sat beside me "Be happy Win" She hugged me and I hugged her back. I missed her. My best friend.
Awkwardly, I pulled back gently and glanced at my friends. Wait. I frowned. Ryujin was hugging my girlfriend?? Yeji looked at the direction where I'm looking at, she chuckled.
"They're close huh? Really close." She teased.
"They just met? Ryujin is flirting with my girlfriend!" I gritted my teeth. Ryujin is being clingy to Jimin even if she knows that Jimin is mine! That player! I groaned.
"Chill. I know Ryujin, she's just doing that to make me jealous." Yeji confidently said.
"To make you jealous??? But she's hugging my girlfriend!" I growled.
"Look at you, your face redden from jealousy. Just do what they want, do you trust Jimin?"
I calmed down with her question "Yes of course, I trust her." I know that she loves me, I could feel it.
"Then just go with the flow, I think Ryujin asked Jimin about this. I know Ryujin, and Jimin is just being nice to her." But looking at them, so close, made my heart twitch.
