"You mean to say that your father had kept your mother hidden and lied to the whole world just to marry your step - mother."

Akarsh was shocked hearing all this . He had never imagined his so called father - in - law to be this much evil.

"Yes . He is such a bastard. He even lied to her. And he was not in any love . He had multiple affairs. He had to marry her because she was pregnant. He was expecting a boy but it turned out to be a girl."

"Aditi" Akarsh said.

"Hm. The one to whom you are getting married because you liked her. " Isha's tone was bitter.

"I didn't liked her." Akarsh said, a frown marring his face. "It was a business marriage for me. I don't even know that how she looks like."

"You gotta be kidding me." Isha asked surprised. "Achha hua bhag gayi."

Akarsh frowned .

"What do you mean by achha hua?"

"She dodged a bullet buddy. Her life would have been ruined if she had married you."

"Oh please! She would have been luckiest, getting married into a royal family." Akarsh said with hint of proud in his tone.

Isha scoffed but ignored his nonsense.

Self - obsessed brat.

Isha sat in disbelief as she processed the shocking information that Akarsh hadn't even seen Aditi's face until their marriage.

The news was both surprising and oddly satisfying to her. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief knowing that Akarsh had never been interested in his arranged marriage.

As she sat there, a whirlwind of emotions swept through her.

On one hand, she felt humiliated to think that she was being considered as a replacement for someone who had been forced into a marriage against her will.

On the other hand, a part of her danced with joy at the realization that Akarsh had never truly cared for Aditi.

Isha had always harbored a mix of feelings towards Akarsh. His seemingly indifferent attitude towards her had sometimes irked her, making her question whether he truly liked her.

But now, knowing the truth, she couldn't help but feel a sense of liberation.

"Why am I so happy about this?" she thought to herself, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. "It shouldn't matter to me what Akarsh feels for Aditi. I should be indifferent to it."

As Akarsh continued to share details of the situation, Isha listened intently. He mentioned, "And you said that she ran away with her lover."

Isha couldn't help but scoff at the absurdity of the notion. She knew the real reason behind Aditi's disappearance.
