11:58 pm

It was my first time getting a ball held for me, i being forced to wear the tightest corset by my mother. i had hair curlers stuck in my scalp the whole day, and for the past month i was suffocating.

The ball was for the celebration of my eighteen birthday-- you could tell it was a big debut when it comes to royals and nobles, which was later occuring at twelve, Midnight. It was our tradition to start the celebration as soon as the second it turned the date of my birth, Twelve midnight.

My mother decided to invite over other royal families and nobles, But she was quite nervous, rocking back in forth inside my room. It had just been me and her for years; she pressured me to live a life like hers. A Mother's girl.

for now, she wasn't panicking at the size of my waist or the texture of my skin like she used to, she was worried about another specific royal family that seemed to have a history with the clan of cesylia.

"The Chalamets? What's wrong with them?" I ask, slightly worried if they were dangerous, rude and arrogant- or not. She looked at me in great worry.

"It's fine he turned too ugly like a frog, unlike me, I aged like fine wine." She reassured herself, Making you giggle for a bit. she used her confidence, insulting people and pulling them down to put her feelings first.

"I wouldn't have you if i was with him anyways." She sighed, and smiled at me, You felt warmth spread from your heart to your whole body. it was just s few seconds after we discussed which families were invited, there was about a huge ballroom to fit in about half a thousand of people.

"You should prepare for your entry now, just a few more minutes. You'll finally be as big as mama." My mother smiled, kneeling in front of me, kissing my forehead.

The knights had escorted me to the huge door entrance of our castle's Grand Ballroom, Taking a deep breath, waiting for the clock to chime twelve before i entered.

The door opened, Hundreds of people clapping their hands with a smile as my name was announced, the grandfather clock hit twelve, a sweat dropped on your forehead, only to be caught by a towel held by one of the servants.

walking in the red carpet beneath the thick marble grand staircase, A trail of my dress following my back, the tiara displayed on my head, my gloved fingers lifted up the fronts of my dress, helping me move forward.

there were three escorts waiting, two Heirs of the two other royal famillies, and my uncle who stood at the last row.

Assumingly, the three of them will be dancing with me through out my debut.

As the heir of Deehan locked arms with me, with a smile, whispering; "Joyful Celebration, Mj. me and my father have high hopes you appreciate our gift." He smiles at me, i smile back.

i've known him for a while; he and his father had come for tea. I've been longing to hear why he had this interest in me.

the heels of my shoes tapping the marble floors under the red shining carpet underneath. "Oh i sure hope you and your family love this delightful celebration." We smile, waving at everyone that clapped their hands, colliding with the musicians that played with effort around.

My eyes trailed to the next man, completely nervous what my mother talked about his family. "Wonderful night, Princess [Y/n]?" He asked, respectfully, with a smile.

His curls covered some part of his face, his green eyes pierced through me, observing the freckles that was displayed on the center of his face.

His bottom lip thick, his jawline was defined, oh god. Maybe this as what my mother feared. "indeed, prince of Sheff."

"Timothèe is fine," he smiled,  we walked gracefully, with smiles on our faces. My mother awaited the stage infront of the crowd of people.

As we reached the point of my uncle, he once waved at me, "Happy birthday, Princess." He smiled.

i was left curious about the boy with the brunette curls, he was pretty and gentle, most of all, he was left as a mystery in my mind.
