Y/N had found out a lot about this world within the last hour.

Firstly, he knew nothing about this world. Being locked up in the static house and not seeing outside for several years had made Y/N ignorant to how it worked and who was in it.

Secondly, he was a part of a species? Ena had explained as much as she knew, which was also quite limited; there were multiple people with this split going down them, and each side held a significantly different personality. Ena seemed a little uncomfortable talking about her sides, so Y/N didn't prod at it, but he couldn't help but wonder about himself. He never really though there were two sides to him, but it did explain a lot of things. These sides could take over their bodies, and were determined by emotions. They also apparently held more colours beyond their primary two, but these were rare and only brought about through extreme emotions.

Y/N - "Have you ever encountered another one of our kind before?"

Ena - "Only occasionally. I've never had the pleasure of sitting down and conversing with one until today, so you'll have to forgive my excitement!"

Y/N - "Consider it forgiven!"

Moony - "It's like there are two of you..."

Oh yeah; thirdly, Ena had a friend named Moony, who wasn't the kindest of souls. She had been floating in the corner and glaring judgementally ever since she burst the door down a while earlier, not moving her eye away from Y/N at any point. Clearly she had some trust issues that were easily quelled. She did have a point, though. Come to think of it, Ena and he did speak quite similarly when their more confident side was in control. It was as if there was natural chemistry between the two, an unspoken bond that just made their personalities click and fall in synch.

Y/N - "Well all of these developments are exciting ones for sure. I never considered being a part of a species."

Ena - "I too thought I was alone until I met another Ena. She was quite similar to you, white and red!"

Y/N - "Lavender and vermilion."

Ena - "Pardon?"

Y/N - "My colours are lavender and vermilion."

Ena's smile widened upon hearing the word 'vermilion' and did a little dance, presumably of happiness. Like a ballerina, she spun in place and stuck out a leg, closing her eyes and looking up to the ceiling.

Ena - "Oh my, what a joyous word! Could you repeat it for me once more?"

Y/N - "Vermilion? Have you never heard of the word?"

Ena - "I dare say this is my first exposure to it. Please, speak to me about vermilion- Oh, what a great word indeed!"

Y/N - "Well, it's a colour. One of my colours, as you can see."

Ena stopped her dance and dashed around the house suddenly, picking up the dog that was sleeping at her feet and holding it out to Y/N inquisitively.

Ena - "Is this creature vermilion?"

Y/N - "Uh... not quite. It's sort of... beige?"

Ena placed the dog down and looked around a little more, picking up a cushion from the sofa. It was a vibrant green colour, which clashed horribly with the neon yellow sofa they were sat on.

Ena - "Is this better? Or closer?"

Y/N - "Not quite, I'm afraid. I'll hold out my arm for reference, would that help?"

Ena - "That would be of incredible use!"

Now chuckling to himself from Ena's excitement, Y/N extended his arm before having a flash of genius. He simply removed the arm from its floating place and handed it to Ena.
