"It's this weird ball thing. I found it in the courtyard, and just before I picked it up Ren saw me for a moment. It was really weird, having someone acknowledge me after almost 2 years of hanging around you guys." I said, once again without thinking.

"Wait what? You've been here two years without once trying to do something to get our attention?" Weiss snapped at me.

"Hey, calm down! You know how sometimes in a fight, it seems like you got a lucky shot, or the enemy barely missed you by sheer luck? Or how you randomly get a boost of energy to even just get up in the mornings? Or how Yang somehow pulled a flip off of her bed and landed on her feet? That was all me. I've spent almost two years protecting you guys!" I said, finally able to let it all out. They all stared at me, before Ruby spoke up.

"I want proof! Make... Erm... Make Weiss slap herself!" She said with a giggle. Weiss slapped her, before turning back to me.

"No, do something easier... Make Pyrrha stand up I guess." Weiss said, pointing to Pyrrha, who was still on the floor by the wall.

"Ok, I can do that!" I walked towards her, and lifted her up by the arm. "Did you feel anything? You shouldn't have."

"No, I didn't. Sadly." Pyrrha said, before collapsing onto the floor again. "I'm just happy I got to see you again."

"Me too, Pyrrha." I said with an amorous gaze.

"Hey wait a minute. You said you've been here almost two years. By here, do you mean 24/7? If so... What about when we were in the shower?" Yang asked, ruining the love in the air as usual.

"N-no! I usually go for a walk then to let out some stress or something!" I blurted out, causing Yang to laugh hysterically.

"It's the real Jaune alright. His face is redder than Ruby's cape!" Yang laughed, before collapsing on the floor with laughter.

Ren spoke up again, two hours after Ruby saw me for the first time. "So, what are you then? Some sort of guardian angel?" He asked me, and I knew the perfect response.

"Call me an 'arc-angel'." I said, getting a grin from Yang and a groan from the rest, until I heard Pyrrha laugh behind me. it was the first time she'd laughed in almost a year.
