*Disclaimer* The reason to share this is not to degrade or discourage someone, but to let us know how things work and what writers or readers feel. I am first a reader, then a small writer (not like great giants here, of course).
So recently, I dared to follow some Akshnav content on X because my friend IshaniSardar18 explained to me about some crazy trends.
Man I've encountered some cringe-worthy and crazy fangirls. It seems like people don't have a university or job to go to. They are like ninja fighters, ready to pounce on anyone who dares to share his or her personal opinion. It's like North Korea; you will die if you go against the government!
I've also seen some advantages to X. People are more open to comments and likes, not like on Whattpad, where I got this weird vibe or an inconvenient competition without my knowledge.
People don't appreciate each other's work or follow back because they are big names, and you are nobody but a newcomer!
I have seen writers sulking over stars and giving ultimatums to stop writing despite getting thousands of views on their storylines. I respect the authors, but I always ask people to start a story when they actually feel the need to do so.
Avoid starting random stories one after another and abandoning them when introducing new ones. We sulk over views and comments, but we don't appreciate the quality, and we are desperate for quantity! So we have no right to cry over readers. Writers Suck! Period! Reality !
I would also like to address this to readers who may struggle with the content. We should appeal to the content. We should appreciate the writer in the comment section. Bro, Whattpad isn't paying them or something! All in all, I don't want anyone to abandon my favourite stories! Readers Suck! Period! Reality!
