Chapter 1

Twilight Sparkle was in the school library studying. She didn't like to be interrupted. She was doing her work by Sunset Shimmer who Twilight instantly ignored. You see, Sunset Shimmer always tried asking Twilight out who gets turned down everytime. Sunset Shimmer had liked Twilight for a while and the opposite of her as well.

Sunset Shimmer: "You know school is over for the day?"

Twilight: "I'm aware of that, your point?"

Sunset Shimmer: "Wanna hang out when you're done?"

Twilight: "I'm busy ask someone else"

Sunset Shimmer: "You're not someone else. I'm asking you specifically"

Twilight: "Why me exactly?"

Sunset Shimmer: "I don't know, something about you draws my attention"

Twilight: "Flattery won't get you know where"

Sunset Shimmer: "Your playing hard to get. I like that"

Twilight got up ignoring Sunset's failing attempts. Her friends waited for her outside the entrance. They noticed Twilight's annoyed expression on her face.

Rainbow Dash: "Let me guess, Sunset Shimmer?"

Twilight: "What gave you that idea?"

Rarity: "It's pretty obvious darling"

Twilight: "She's obsessed with me. Why? I'll never know"

Twilight realised she left her bag in the library which probably closed by now. She was about to head back when Sunset Shimmer was standing there with her bag.

Sunset Shimmer: "You left this behind and before you ask no I didn't take anything"

Twilight: "Oh...thanks?"

Sunset Shimmer: "I'm not as bad as you think sweetie"

Sunset Shimmer put on her earphones winking and walked off home listening to music.

Pinkie Pie: "Oooooooh she liiiikes you, you like heeeeer~"

Twilight: "No I don't. Never in anyone's wildest dreans"

Her friends chuckled as they all walked home together. After a certain point they parted ways. After returning home she was greeted by her dog spike (he can talk in this story) who was happy for her return.

Spike: "How was today?"

Twilight: "Good other than Sunset Try to ask me out for I don't how many times. I lost count"

Spike: "Want me to chase her away?"

Twilight: "It's fine spike I can handle it. I'm tired so I'm just gonna rest for a while"

Spike: "Go rest up. I'll keep watch of the house. Me and the mail man have unfinished business"

Twilight smiled shaking her head and headed upstairs to her room. She wanted to rest her head after today from all the school work and also Sunset Shimmer. She didn't know why she had an interest in her.

Meanwhile Spike was at the window keeping watch for the postman who arrived to deliver a letter. Once he saw Spike, he knew what he was about to do. Spike instantly ran out of doggy door and chased him down the road. Having his mission accomplished he happily went back home.

Spike: "Mission accomplished. Now a well deserved nap"

Later that day Twilight was well rested. Then she received a text from her friend Pinkie Pie suggested that they have a sleepover. Twilight texted back with a yes.
