Justin's P.O.V
"Justiiiiiiin," Cara whined.
"What?" I answered.
“I wanna have fun. I've tanned too much.”
“Aren't you taking a break from modeling?”
“Your point?”
“You don’t have to live up to your managers expectations or whatever.”
“That’s like me telling you to go do something that’ll screw up your voice cuz you’re not performing or recording any time soon.”
I chuckled, “Okay, what do you wanna do?”
“I don’t know, I’m sure we can find something, but lying in the sand won’t help us figure out what that “something” is.”
I got up and pulled her up with me. She was wearing a neon pink bikini top and a neon yellow bikini bottom. Her hair was flowing down her shoulders and she was holding a magazine.
“You’re so obvious.”
I looked up at her confused, “What?”
“You totally just checked me out.”
“No I did not.”
“You totally did.”
“Fine,” I put my hands up defending myself before she’d smack me or something, “it’s not my fault my best friend is a smoking hot model.” I winked.
“Shut up.” She said.
I put my arm around her bare shoulders and we walked back to the cabin. I don’t even know why it’s called a cabin. It’s pretty big for that title.
“Can I have a piggy back ride?” Cara asked.
“Hop on.” I answered.
Piggy back rides are like our thing. Cara and I have been friends for 2 years and we know everything about each other inside and out. She’s one of the girls who can be my best friend only with nothing more to it. Not my sex buddy and not my girlfriend. Our friendship isn't one of those friendships where we eventually fall in love with each other and live happily ever after. I’m happy with that because it’s always good to have a relationship like ours. She is always there for me no matter what she’s doing and that’s one of the many reasons why I allowed her to get away with me. There’s this guy who she fell in love with and he feels the same way towards her, but she doesn't know. He’s always trying to get her alone, but paparazzi got every chance they had to leak pictures of them. People were sending her hate and the paparazzi never left her alone, even when she wasn't with him. She’s been avoiding him since their last outing because it became too much for her. A month ago was when it happened. And by “it” I mean the main reason why she’s here. The paps were chasing her and it got to the point where they were on top of her leaving her no space to move in her car and then another car came crashing into her. She turned out to be fine, which was a miracle, and then she asked me to come with. I said yes without hesitation. He’s probably trying to find her, but Cara’s decided to ignore him. A smack on my head pulled me out of my thoughts.
“What the fuck was that for?” I asked annoyed. I couldn't rub my head because my hands were busy carrying Cara.
“Well, I was talking to you and then when I asked something you didn't’t answer. You okay? You seem to be distant lately…”
“Yeah, I’m fine. Can you rub my scalp please? It hurts.”
“You’re such a baby.” She teased as she massaged me.
“Ahh that feels gooood.”
“Now tell me what’s on your mind.”
“I’m scared for you Car.”
“Seriously? We’re trying to avoid all of that by coming here,” she jumped off my back and walked in front me to face me, “I’m fine! I really am! The impact wasn't intense or anything. Maybe I got a little crazier….”
“Very funny. But that’s not what I’m worried about.”
“So then what is it that you’re worried about?” She raised her eyebrows at me.
“Harry. I’m worried about you and Harry.”
“Well I’m not, so I don’t see why you should be.”
“Uhh maybe because he really likes you and the love you guys share is something special so I encourage it, but at the same time I’m scared he’ll hurt you.”
“We’ll take care of that later! Wait- what? He likes me?”
”Loves you.”
“No. No this is too much. We can take care of this later. Let’s go have funnnnn!”
She turned around and skipped into the house. I followed her inside and by the time I got in she was already laughing so hard tears sprung into her eyes.
“What now?” I asked. She's always laughing.
“It seems like Scarlett loves you.”
“Damn it. She seemed totally chilled about me though.” I sat down on the floor digging my palms into my eyes.
“Oh lookie here! A stereo! Let’s dance Biebs!” Cara giggled.
A minute later Believe was on shuffle and me and Cara were partying.
“Cuz ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I neeeeed is a beauty and a beat! Body rock…..” Cara was singing.
I covered my ears with my hands, “OWWW!! Stoooppppp it hurts!”
Cara fell to the floor laughing which was so contagious and it caused me to join her on the floor laughing even harder. She got onto her knees and smacked me.
“You’re so mean to me. It’s not even a joke. I actually have a beautiful voice. Scooter was thinking about dropping you and signing me instead.”
“I’m glad you think so.”
We both calmed down and Cara laid her head on my chest. “Thanks for bringing me with you.”
I sat up to hug her, “Love you Car.”
She smiled at me in return and we cuddled on the floor quietly. “Biebz I’m hungry.”
“Let’s go see if there’s anything to eat in the kitchen.”
“But I don’t want to move. I’m so comfortable.”
“We’ll get comfy again, but lets eat…it’ll be fun!” I said knowing neither of us can cook or bake.
“Fine, but you have to pick me up.” She stuck her tongue out at me. I got up and then picked her up bridal style, carrying her to the kitchen and placing her on the island in it.
“Let’s make pasta and cheese and then we can attempt to bake something.” Cara suggested while rubbing her stomach.
“We have to make sure not to make a mess though.”
We both stifled a laugh at my comment.
" We both know that’ll never happen.”
