Billy's Dream

Chapter 11:

After twenty minutes of eating and small talk, I notice Axel acting strange as if something was bugging him.

"What's wrong with Axel?" I whispered to Billy. He set his wine down.

"I don't know" He said then turned back to eating. Well I hope he'll be fine. I looked at Axel and seen him mouth ''I'm fine, don't worry' then put one a polite but not convincing smile. I still didn't believe him. But I wasn't going to push it. I just smiled back and went on to eating my salad.

"So, are we all prepared for the ball Ivy?" Billy's mother said breaking the silence.

"Um, I believe so. I'm just a bit nervous"

"Don't worry dear you'll do fine. I remember my first ball." She sighed happily "It was magical. Dancing, beautiful dresses, champagne, and just fun"

"Oh wow now I can't wait!"

" Mom, don't mentioned champagne to her. She's not old enough yet. And also that's what happened to you and you were surprised by a little miracle. Me!" Billy said.

I glared at him "Billy, don't be mean please."

"But babe you even said you didn't want to have kids not yet. She said the same thing and look i'm here right now." He said with a little smile.

"Well you know what, i'm proud that you came into my life Billy! You were my little miracle. I said the same thing to your father as did Ivy. I wasn't ready to be a parent yet alone married. But your father was by my side ever since I got pregnant. And I don't regret anything that happened back then." She said smiling at me. "Plus I want grand kids!" I couldn't help but laugh at her last statement. Billy glared at me.

"What? We should give your mother and father what they want. Don't be such a sourpuss. Please, plus I never had champagne and don't expect to anytime soon." He smiled after I said that.

"Promise?" He said giving me his greatest smile.

"Pinkie promise" I said holding out my pinkie. He looked at it for a few seconds and laughed, he then wrapped his pinkie around mine.

"God, I love you silly woman"

"Ha ha I love you too" I said then dropped our hands and went back to eating.

"Oh, babe this is my cousin Edgar and his wife Sophia. They've been together for a long time. Edgar can see the present, past, and future. His wife Sophia can take over any ones body and she can make them say or do whatever she says. Since they are much older they are much more stronger. I'm not that far from them so I'm lucky "

"Hello Ivy, please to meet you" Edgar said with a polite smile. His wife just nodded at me and smiled. I did the same back.

"I'd love to see your powers soon. Maybe we can set a date for when that happens?" I smiled at the married couple.

"That would be fantastic!" Sophia said and grinned and did a little jump.

"Ivy, you'll get to see every ones powers. But after the ball" Billy's mom said.

"Ivy, can we have a talk later?" Billy's dad said, finally.

"Um, yes sir that would be fine"

"Good, tomorrow meet me at my office at noon"

"Okay" I said with a soft smile.

"Well ladies and gentlemen I think it is time for me and my wife to get to bed. Goodnight all" He said as getting up and waiting for Billy's mother too.
