After your relationship with Ricky was made public, you expected everyone to treat you just the same. Even thought they would hate you since you're dating their crush. But everyone was nice and treated you like a normal person.
Even if you're still sad it changed because you have a pretty boyfriend, you can't complain since you don't see any other way you can fix that.
And this is making you nervous.
Fortunately, Ricky knows it's bothering you but doesn't say anything to make you uncomfortable. He's glad you're no longer worried about hiding in janitor's room to see him or choosing the long path just to avoid meeting him infront of people you know.
Now that you're relationship is public, he is hoping he could hold your hand in public and brag how he is dating the most beautiful soul ever. But you're still insecure and Ricky wants to change that without making you uncomfortable.
"Atleast, let me hold your hands," he whines as he walks you to class.
"My hands are sweaty," you said because holding hands while everyone watches sure makes you sweaty.
"You're hands are always cold. How can it be sweaty?"
You open your mouth to say some nerd shit when he stops you. "I don't need any medical explanation, my sweet little brainy girlfriend."
You roll your eyes. "I'm letting you hold my backpack. Ain't that enough for you?"
He groans as he slings your backpack on his back.
"I wonder what you'll allow me on prom night."

The awaited prom arrived fast that you were worried you didn't prepare much. Your mom tells you it's alright and you just have to try not to look too much into it. But looking pretty enough for the prettiest boy ever was the hardest thing.
You picked a dress that Mia insisted would look good on you. But you thought it just wasn't you. It looked like it's showing too much but Mia keeps assuring you hundred percent you would be crowned with prom queen even if she knows you won't.
You let her pick it and it's your turn to choose for her. Everything looked good on her and you keep complimenting her but she wasn't that confident at all.
"Yunseo would be head over heels," you say as she try the fifteenth dress that looked perfect. "He would be lucky he joined the library club to find a girl like you."
She giggles. "Yours is more romantic. The first girl to attract a guy with the way she run out of class because she saw a frog."
You nudge her arms. "That's not romantic. He looked at me weird that time."
"Sorry I haven't told you all this time but he kept looking all over for you that day and resisted the urge to ask me for your number. He was so shy about it." She laughed as she reminisce.
You shake your head. "Ricky? Shy to ask a girl's number? Highly doubt it."
"Trust me, he just appears to be tough but whenever you come to class, he is checking his hair and if he looks presentable," she says, touching the sequins on the dress. "But my clueless bestie never gave him any attention."
