Alterhuman:
an umbrella term for those who believe that they are partially or fully non-human on a non-physical level or that you feel a strong connection with a non-human entity or creature.
Otherkinity:
identifying as a non-human fictional animal or other entity on a non-physical level.
Therianthropy:
identifying as an animal that either has existed in the past or exists today on a non-physical level.
Otherkin:
a person who experiences otherkinity. being an otherkin is involuntary.
Therian:
a person who experiences therianthropy. being a Therian is involuntary.
Otherhearted:
feeling a strong connection with a non-human animal/entity. often confused for Therianthropy/Otherkinity.
Otherlink:
a conscious choice to identify as a non-human entity.
copinglink:
identifying as an a non-human entity as a coping mechanism.
funlink:
identifying as a non-human entity for fun.
Clinical Lycanthropy:
a mental delusion where someone believes that they are physically a werewolf.
Clinical Zoanthropy:
a mental delusion where someone believes that they are physically a non-human animal.
Zoophile:
a person who is sexually attracted to bon-human animals and/or has sexual relations with them. animals can not consent, and zoophilia is illegal. most alterhumans and furries hate zoophiles (for good reason).
Furry:
a person with an interest in anthropomorphic (humanoid) animals.
generally just someone who considers themself part of the furry fandom.
being a furry is not sexual, you're thinking of yiffers/murrsuiters.
Teen Werewolf:
not always alterhuman. it's just another subculture like preppy, goth, emo, furry, etc. there are alterhuman teen werewolves, though.
adults can dress like a teen werewolf, but it's kinda weird to call yourself that if you're over 19.
Quadrobics:
a sport in which people run around on all fours like animals. it builds great allover body strength. it's not a very popular sport, though, so you probably won't see it in the Olympics.
