Harry came into hospital with his mum after falling off his bike and cracking his head open and his knee open
Dr - harry could you come through plz
Harry and mum goes through to the room
Dr - ok harry I see you have hurt your head and knee. Could I take a look plz
Harry nods
Dr takes a look at the wounds
Dr - ok so it looks like you will need stitches in your head and knee. So I will be back with the stuff soon
Dr comes back with a metal tray
Harry has a Quick Look and sees lots of needles and some syringes. He starts to get scared cause he hates needles
Harry - mum I don't want a needle plz don't let me get one
Mum - it will be ok I'm here ok it won't hurt I promise
Harry - ok
Dr - ok Harry I'm going to start with your head. So what I'm going to do is numb your wound so you won't feel any pain whip I'm stitching your head up
Harry - will it hurt numbing it up
Dr - jsut a pinch and maybe a small burn ok
Harry nods
Dr - just lie here plz
Dr gets the injection ready
Mum - here Harry hold my hand
Harry held her hand
Dr - ok I'm going to start now ok 3 2 1
Dr inserted the needle
Harry - ow ow ow
Mum - squeeze my hand
Dr inject the medicine and took out the needle and did the same around the wound about 20 times
Harry - ah please stop it really hurts
Dr - is it not numb yet
Harry - no
Dr - we are going to do another injection then
Harry - no please no
Dr - don't worry this one won't hurt as much. Just a few more insertions and we will move on to the second needle
Dr grabs the second needle
Dr - this one won't hurt as much don't worry
Dr does this one with ease
Dr - right I think you are numb now we can stitch
Dr stitches her head up
