"So, here is the main office building for Grey Sloan International. Not a bad walk from your hotel, sí?"
"Not a bad walk at all. What a gorgeous building," Danielle said as she gazed up at the stunning exterior of the office building.
"It's very nice. I work on the 2nd floor; I am not sure where you will be,"
"Got it. Hopefully I'll be close."
"Just a week ago, those words would never have never come out of your mouth," Stefania joked. "You would be saying... Get me away from this woman!"
"Shut up!" Danielle said as she began laughing, even though it was the truth. "Don't get your hopes up, it's because you're the only person I know in the building."
Stefania laughed and smiled down at Danielle. "Want to check out town now?"
"I'd love to."
Danielle and Stefania walked the streets of Italy side by side and continued talking to each other. This gave both women hope that maybe there was a chance they could get along.
"Are you a big wine drinker?" Danielle asked as she looked up at Stefania while they walked.
"Are you asking me, an Italian, if I'm a wine drinker?" Stefania said with wide eyes as she stopped in her tracks. "Oh, you bet I am!"
"Just making sure!" Danielle said as she put her hands up in defense. "We should go out one night for wine. You know... Have a few drinks and get to know each other."
"Yes please! But you can't let me drink too much wine," Stefania replied with wide eyes. "Like your friends say about you, I will do crazy things if I have too much."
"Looks like we'll have to keep a close eye on each other, huh?"
"I guess so. We can do it one day after work," Stefania stated while nodding. "Anyways, right up here is the Trevi Fountain."
Stefania pointed at a grand building with a large fountain in front of it that had a few statues of gods and horses in it. Danielle's jaw dropped and her eyes grew wide at the sight.
"It is the most famous fountain in Rome. Pretty, right?"
"Yes! It's beautiful! Let me take a picture of it for my roommates," Danielle said as she pulled out the camera Jaina got her.
"Want one of you in it?" Stefania asked.
"That's okay, I just want to take-"
"Nope, come on Danielle. You being in Italy is a once in a lifetime opportunity... Let me take your picture."
"Fine... Here, take it on my phone," Danielle replied while handing Stefania her phone.
The blonde stood in front of the fountain and put her arms in the air as she smiled vibrantly, with the building and statues behind her.
"Beautiful," Stefania said as she took pictures of Danielle and admired her beauty.
"Want to take one together?"
"Sí, but only if you send it to Patrick to prove we're getting along," Stefania said jokingly.
Stefania looked around at the people around them and found an older man to take their picture. She spoke in Italian to ask him to take a photo of them. The brunette handed the man Danielle's phone, and two women stood next to each other in front of the fountain. They had their arms wrapped around each other's backs and smiled brightly.
"Let's do a funny one," suggested Danielle as she looked at Stefania.
Danielle began to make a funny face for the photo while Stefania kissed her cheek and froze while the man took the photos. The blonde felt herself tense up as she felt butterflies in her stomach, and she looked at Stefania with wide eyes as the photo was being taken. Both women's hearts began to beat faster, but everything seemed to slow down in the moment.
