The group continued to look around.
Julie:So if that bunny girl is the one who trapped us here, there's a good chance she has something to do with whats going on with the animatronics.
Ben:Yeah, but what's the connection?
Spencer:With the tools we found, maybe she tampered with them somehow.
Wiley:Maybe if we split up, we might get more done.
Julie:Agreed. Spencer, you go with Pandora, Isaac, you're with Aki. Ethan, you're with Pixie and Freddy. Wiley, Ben, you're with me.
They all nodded and separated. Wiley began talking to Ben.
Wiley:I can understand why you like my cousin.
Ben blushed.
Ben:I...don't know what you're talking about...
Wiley:Dude, it's pretty obvious.
Ben:Okay. I've just never really talked to a girl.
Wiley:I get it, you're nervous. I know she likes you too. When the time's right, you'll both admit it.
Meanwhile, with Ethan's group, Ethan noticed Freddy seemed to be slowing down.
Ethan:You okay?
Freddy:My battery is getting low, there's a charging station nearby. I'll be right back, stay here.
He then walked off. Pixie and Ethan then heard what sounded like footsteps. They quickly hid. It was Chica. The two remained quiet. However, Chica began coming towards Pixie. Ethan then noticed the nearby trash compactor. He then came up with an idea. He pushed over a mound of garbage in the compactor and deliberately made noise so Chica would come towards it. He quickly hid as Chica passed him. Pixie joined him.
Pixie:Wait, are we gonna.
Ethan:If we dismantle her, we could find out what's wrong with her.
He was about to push the button when Pixie stopped.
Pixie:We can't do that! She's Freddy's friend! Besides, it's not her fault.
Ethan:Okay then, what would you suggest?
Pixie:I...I don't know...
They were looking at Chica, when something caught Ethan's eye.
Ethan:Hey, what's that sticking out of her back?
They noticed a strange chip in her back, surging with purple electricity.
Ethan:That...doesn't look like it should be there. If we take that out, maybe she'll reboot back to normal. We just need to get the drop on her.
Pixie:I'll provide a distraction, you try and get the chip out.
Ethan:Right.
Pixie:Oh Chica!
Chica spun her head around and faced her.
Pixie:Look at me! A kid all alone out in the open, and in a restricted area!
Chica began to lumber towards her. Just as she was nearing her, Ethan jumped on her back and began struggling to pull the chip out. Eventually, it came out, and Chica shut off, fallinb flat on the floor. Ethan got off her. After a few minutes, Chica rebooted and woke up.
Chica:Ugh...what the world?
Wiley:Are you okay?
Chica:I think so. What happened?
Pixie:Someone put this chip in you, and it made you attack us.
Chica:What?! I didn't hurt you, did I?
Ethan:You didn't, don't worry.
Freddy came running in, and stopped when he saw Chica. He hugged her.
Freddy:I'm so glad you're back to normal.
Pixie:If you had a chip, I think it's a safe bet the others have ones too.
Ethan used his Faz Watch to call the others.
Ethan:Guys, we think we found something of interest. There was a chip in Chica's back. We pulled it out and she rebooted back to normal.
Julie:That's good. That could prove useful. Wiley, Ben and I found Roxy and Bonnie over by Roxy's Raceway.
Ethan:We'll meet you there.
The kids and the animatronics headed to Roxy's Raceway. Meanwhile, outside, the families of the kids were still trying to get in.
Janice:Any luck?
Wolf:'Fraid not. Webs can't hack the doors to get them open, and Piranha and Orca can't break the doors down.
Geronimo:There's got to be another way in.
Tarantula:There is a vent on the west side. It does seem big enough for all of us, but it's pretty high up.
They found the vent, and it was indeed at a great height.
Carmelita:So how do reach that?
Thea:A human ladder. Getting on each other's shoulders.
Shark:Sounds good to me!
He tried getting on Snake's "shoulders"
Snake:Wait! Wait!
He ended up stomping Snake into the ground. Everyone looked at him in annoyance.
Shark:Maybe we should've done that the other way around.
Snake:Ya think?!
