The group had taken refuge in the security office. Julie had tied the unconscious Vanessa to a chair.
Bonnie:Sure those ropes will hold?
Julie:I make sure I'm thorough.
Sundrop:I can't believe this! Why would she do such horrible things?! She may be grumpy and strict, but she can't be insane!
Moondrop:Exactly. One time, I accidentally made a kid cry, and it took her an hour to calm her down. She really gave me an earful.
Monty slammed his fist on the desk in frustration.
Monty:It just doesn't make any sense! She'd never want to hurt anyone, much less children.
Pixie:Hopefully she can answer us when she wakes up
After a few minutes, Vanessa regained consciousness.
Julie:Wakey Wakey, sleeping beauty.
Vanessa:Where am I? Why am I tied to a chair? And what am I wearing?
Ethan:We're the ones asking questions.
Isaac then slapped her.
Julie:Isaac, you're supposed to ask her a question before you do that.
Isaac:Oh yeah. What color is my underwear?!
He then slapped her again.
Everyone groaned in annoyance.
Julie:Okay, I'm taking the wheel on this. Now, why did you lock us in here? And why did you infect the animatronics with a virus.
Vanessa:Are you pulling my leg? I didn't do any of that.
Julie:Don't play stupid! You attacked us all night!
Vanessa:How do I know you didn't do that to me?
Julie smacked her.
Julie:I'm not gonna repeat myself.
Vanessa:Look, whatever I did, I have zero memory of this.
Aki:Wait. Vanessa, what's the last thing you do remember.
Vanessa:I remember...making my rounds. Then my head started to pound like crazy, then I passed out. Then I'm waking up here.
Aki signaled everyone to her.
Aki:Maybe she really doesn't know what's going on.
Foxy:Well then, what be wrong with her?
Isaac:Maybe someone hypnotized her.
Wiley:That's not too far fetched.
Then they heard what sounded like Vanessa shouting.
Vanessa:Stop! Get out of my head! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
Everyone was shocked and confused.
Freddy:Kids, stay back.
Vanessa was thrashing around in the chair. Eventually she calmed down.
Julie:What...was that about?
Vanessa:For months, I've been hearing this...voice in my head. Actually, I've heard it a few times during my blackouts. Telling me to do terrible things, but I never listened to them. I tried going to a psychiatrist for whats going on, but nothing worked!
Wiley:What if she's being possessed?
Julie:Wiley, that's ridiculous. Maybe she has schizophrenia, or a split personality.
Vanessa:I thought that was the case too. But I went to get tested for both, they both came back negative.
Just then, a voice on the loud speaker.
???:Well, you lot are certainly a bright bunch.
The voice sounded sinister and raspy, almost like an old man's voice.
Spencer:Who are you?
???:Come on, you all should be smart enough to figure that out. I'll just say for now that I have been playing quite a part in all of this. Come to entrance to the basement. I'll have quite the surprise for all of you.
Julie untied Vanessa.
Aki:Why are you untying her?
Julie:Probably not a good idea to leave her here alone.
Vanessa took the bunny costume off.
Vanessa:We can take a short cut through one of the tunnels.
Spencer:Alright, but try anything funny, we will not hesitate to defend ourselves.
Vanessa:Fair enough.
Meanwhile, the adults heard the message as well.
Brutus:The basement? Never good.
Janice:Agreed. We need to get there before the kids do. No telling, whoever or whatever that was does something too them.
Sly:Agreed.
They took a short cut through one of the tunnels...
