-A U T H O R 'S P O V-
As Abir walked away from Aadya's house, the memory of her tear-streaked face played over and over in his mind. Each step felt heavy, burdened by the weight of her unspoken pain. He had never felt so powerless, so desperate to protect someone, and yet, he knew he couldn't shield her from everything. But one thing was certain-whoever had hurt her would pay dearly for it.

⋆AT SCHOOL - LUNCH BREAK🎐⋆
The classroom was nearly empty as lunch period had begun. Most students had already made their way to the cafeteria, but Aadya remained seated, staring blankly at her desk. Her mind was a whirlwind of emotions, too overwhelming to process.
Abhishek, one of her close friends, noticed her still sitting there and approached with his usual playful grin. "Aadu, why are you so quiet? What's up with this handsome guy in front of you not getting any attention?" he teased, trying to lift her spirits.
But Aadya remained silent, her gaze still fixed downward. Her heart felt heavy, weighed down by the events of the past few days. She didn't have the strength to put on a brave face, not this time.
Abhishek's smile faded as he noticed the tears welling up in her eyes. "Aadu, wait, are you crying?" he asked, his voice laced with concern as he gently cupped her face, trying to meet her eyes.
Aadya quickly pulled away, looking down as fresh tears spilled over. She didn't want to burden anyone with her troubles, but the pain was too much to bear alone.
"Who hurt you, Aadu? Tell me," Abhishek pleaded, his voice barely above a whisper, but she shook her head, unable to speak. The tears kept coming, and all he could do was hold her, offering what little comfort he could.
🦚
After some time, Abhishek managed to convince Aadya to join him in the cafeteria, though her appetite was nowhere to be found. He cracked jokes along the way, doing his best to lighten her mood. And for a moment, it worked. Aadya even managed a small laugh at one of his lame jokes, though it didn't quite reach her eyes.
As they reached the cafeteria, Abhishek went to grab some food, leaving Aadya standing by the entrance. But the brief moment of peace was shattered when she felt someone close behind her. Her body tensed as Vihan, a senior, wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her against him.
