Part 16: coffee cafe

A/N: sorry for not updating readers some personal stuff came up and school has been kicking my ass..but I'll try to update more if I get the chance so enjoy!

1ST POV

(Y/n's) POV:

After school I walked alongside the group Danny and tucker behind us talking about.. guy things me and Sam were in front of them

We all wore something different today since it's not bad to look nice once in a while and there was a new coffee cafe down the road from here

"So Sam are you gonna go to the dance?" Sam shook her head no at my words "Nope I think it would be better if I stayed home" she said irritated

I raised a brow towards her "And my parents bought me this dumb dress but I'll probably go bury it later" she said with a teasing tone

We both giggled as we finally reached our destination "coffee Cups" the top of the building said the building was pretty nice some light colors made the building stand out

Tucker quickly went in front of us and opened the door "ladies first" me and Sam glanced at each other and I rolled my eyes

chuckling softly Sam walked ahead of me going in first then me after then the two came in after us I looked around and it was pretty nice

Very light colors built the place with tables and people filling the chairs small chattering could be heard through the place but my gosh this place was amazing!

Stepping in the scent of coffee hit my nose I hummed happily and i saw danny walk beside me looking around also

"Well this is the nicest place I've been to yet! I feel a little under dressed just by looking at this" he said a little nervous

I snorted covering my mouth "well you wear the same thing most of the time and you rarely have other clothes choices" I looked at him teasing him

He quickly looked over and gasped dramatically quickly looking down at his clothes and looked back up at me "well for your information I can wear what I want"

I looked him up and down scanning his outfit choice for today

He wore a white shirt with a blue jacket some blue jeans and nice black shoes I hummed to myself Danny crossed his arms and raised a brow smirking

"What? Can't take your eyes off me?" He teased rolling my eyes "mabye because you wore something different today..and it's hilarious to see.."

Mumbling the last part he scoffed playfully "and like you can dress better?" My eyes narrowed at him

"You wanna bet Fenton?" He smirked as I stood up in front of him "Yeah if you aren't gonna back down (L/n)"

"Fine" I crossed intimidating him "fine we will see who has the better prom outfit next week" I said
And pointed at him

"and the loser has to follow the winners request for the rest of the weekend" He nodded his head "I'm game but you better back out while you can (y/n)"

I rolled my eyes "you wish Danny" "he chuckled and he pointed towards tucker spot "now let's go sit down i need something to drink already"

I giggled grabbed his arm gently dragging him towards tucker "tell me about it" we walked over to tucker and sat down

Tucker looked up from his phone and smiled pointing at the two of us with a smirk "are you guys finally joining us? Or still gonna flirt"

My face heated up immediately and I slightly glared at tucker "first of all not flirting and second I would rather lick the school's bathroom floor"

Tucker rolled his eyes and whistled "yeah sure like you guys weren't flir-" "Not flirting!" I interrupt tucker irritated

I didn't seem to see Danny's face was also hot and red from embarrassment but I was busy arguing tucker to notice

Suddenly Sam walked over to us holding our drinks and sat down trying not to spill hers "so I heard a band was coming soon" she said

Me and tucker looked over as she interrupted us..good thing I was about to jump over this table and beat his as-

"yeah I think they're coming to our school to perform or something" Danny said before drinking his coffee Sam hummed

"oh yeah I heard they're gonna be on a trip around the place" tucker said I looked down at my drink watching it swirl around

I felt a hand on my shoulder "hey (y/n) are you alright?" I jumped as a hand was placed on my shoulder I looked to the side to see Danny with a concerned face

I quickly sighed and smiled "yeah I'm alright..just thinking of some friends back home" I said Danny raised a brow

"So you're home sick?" "Yep" I frowned slightly drinking my cup away "and missing my friend's  so much it's kinda killing me" I said kinda joking

He frowned slightly but squeezed my shoulder trying to reassure me..it kinda helped my hand reached up to his and went on top of his

Gently grazing over his knuckles I looked up at him and smiled "don't worry about that though I'll be alright" he smiled and took his hand off

We heard a click and turned to it seeing Sam hold her phone up at us and tucker smiling at us he whistles

"Doesn't seem like you're "not a couple" (y/n)" tucker did air quotes as he said not a couple..was it hot in here? My face felt like it was burning..

"Tucker!" I groaned irritated and embarrassed of this situation..and stood up "I'm gonna get more coffee.." i jogged over to the cashier ignoreing tuckers and sams laughing

I waited in line to get my coffee as I looked down on my phone scrolling through my apps bored as I finally get to the front

"hey do you guys have (F/d)? And I'll take a bagel" the cashier nodded "yes we do actually! Let me get that for you just hold on a second!"

They ran to the back kitchen to probably get it..waiting a few minutes they came back with (F/d) and handed it to me

"Here you go! And lucky for you, you got the last one!" I pulled out my wallet to pay and gave them the money

..the money wasn't there ARE YOU KIDDING!? my mind went blank and I froze and shyly looked at the cashier

"Nevermind just cancel the order" I was about walk away before a voice called out "wait I'll pay" I raised a brow and quickly turn around
