Song: Notion, The Rare Occassions

No one's POV
--------------------

Evan woke up. Blood blinded his vision, shadows enveloping his hands in which clutched the voided ground. He's on his knees, sobbing loudly. He can't see where he is, but something tells him this home.

"HELLO?" He screams out, hoping someone will hear him. As expected, no response was given. Only silence replied. Evan's own voice echoes through his ears.

His voice sounded muffled, as if he were underwater. He knows he isn't, but it feels like he is. It's a strange feeling, and Evan doesn't like it.

A hand lifts from the ground, rubbing Evan's blood and tear ridden eyes in hopes of regaining his eyesight. It works, but his eyes sting from the fluid. His jaw aches, and it feels as if it has been snapped or stretched from impact. His head is throbbing in agony. He can't bear it.

With the ability to see, he observes his surroundings. There's nothing. It's like he's been sulked into a black hole; there's nothing but darkness. Evan's eyes drown in despair and horror in fear of the unknown.

His legs shiver as he stands up, looking around warily. There's quite literally nothing here. Evan's about to go and sob to express himself until he hears something.

"I can fix you."

Evan would recognise that slurred and run-down voice from anywhere. It's his teddy bear, 'Fredbear'. Fredbear always talked to Evan in the times he had no support. Evan's head darts around, trying to find the location of this bear plush. A glimmer of yellow thread catches his eye, and he runs towards it.

He eventually comes across Fredbear, who's sitting in shadows. Behind Fredbear, around 6 metres, is Evan's other plushies of the main 4 animatronics. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and a beheaded Foxy.

"Fredbear? Where am I?"

The bear doesn't respond. Why can't that stupid thing give Evan help when he needs it most?

Evan is about to question the stuffed bear friend once more, until he hears a faint and echoey voice, who seems like they're crying.

"I'm so sorry, Evan. I never meant for this to happen." It's Michael.
Michael's distant voice is cut off by an annoyed, yet also sobbing, one. "Shut the hell up, you -"

Evan immediately recognised the second voice as Gregory. He heard faint murmurs of children, who of which would most likely be his friend group. He sighs, missing them dearly already. Evan plops down onto the ground beside Fredbear, feeling himself start to cry.

The small yellow plush seems to look up at him, almost looking sorry. "You're broken."

Evan's eyes widen, swinging his head back to Fredbear. "...W-what..?"

"We're still your friends. Do you still believe that? I'm still here." Fredbear pauses as if to let Evan take his time in taking in this information.

"I will put you back together."

Fredbear's voided eyes stare at Evan as if looking into his soul. Its 'expression' is sorrowful, as if it understands Evan's pain. As if it feels genuinely bad. Evan nods slowly, the tears coming more strongly.

He eventually comes to notice that the other plushies have disappeared, leaving no mark, as if they were never there in the first place. He musters up the courage to ask a question. "Where even am I? This.. This isn't home. Am I dead? It was my birthday party."

Fredbear stares in silence. He doesn't respond.

"Fredbear? Hello?" Evan whispers softly, his tears preventing him from saying a loud sentence with ease. Once more, Fredbear doesn't respond. Evan sighs, picking up the plush, lying down on the shadowed ground. It's cold..
