𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

- 𝗺𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 -

{ season one: episode two }

Aria quickly jumps into her car and twists
the keys into the ignition, as she drives off to the Mikaelson house. The drive only takes around 5-10 minutes. She finally arrives at the house and she practically jumps out the car as it's still moving. Aria switches the car off and runs up to the door as she enters the house to see Damon, Stefan, Elena & Elijah all turn around to look at her as if they've just seen a ghost. Then Aria sees it.. Rebekah lying cold and dead in the middle of living room floor, with a wooden dagger driven straight through her heart. Aria finds herself swelling with tears as she looks at her dear step sister laying lifeless on the floor, not moving. Not breathing. Nothing.

Aria rushes over to her body as the others watch. 'Bekah? Bekah can you hear me? Please talk to me, please Bekah. You can't leave me here like this, you need to breathe. Breathe Bekah' Aria says, to the lifeless body lying infront of her that is Rebekah Mikaelson. She's practically crying her eyes out at this point, as Damon kneels down beside her and pulls her away from Rebekah's body as he embraces Aria with a hug. 'I'm sorry Aria, but she's dead' he whispers, as she cries into his shoulder. 'No, no she can't be dead. She just can't. Katherine will pay for this' Aria replies, as she looks to the others who are also crying because of the way Aria's reacted to Bekah's death. 'Yes she will, but for now, we need to get you out of here' he replies, locking eyes with Aria as he pulls her up so that she's now standing.

Aria doesn't know what this feeling is, but whenever her and Damon locked eyes, she felt adrenaline flowing through my body, like she could conquer anything life throws at her. She felt the electricity rinsing through her, almost as if she's known him her entire life.

'Katherine Pierce will not get away with this' she says to the others, as she wipes the tears that are flowing downs her cheeks. 'Bekah didn't deserve this, not from Katherine, not from anyone'. The others are now just looking at Aria as if she has more to say, which she does.

'I will not let her take Bekah away from me the same way she did my mother', Aria shouts, but she pauses in her step after realising what she had just blurted out to the group. 'Your mother?' Elena questions, as she looks at Aria like her hearts just broke into a million pieces.

'What happened to your mother, Aria?' Stefan has now entered the conversation, as he looks at Aria with an intrigued look but also with a slight look of fear in his eyes.

As Aria takes a deep breath in, she decides to explain the tragic tale of what happened to her mother to the group. 'It was 1864, this was the time where Katherine and I were practically inseparable. We would never let anyone or anything come between us no matter what. We were best friends always & forever. Until one day she had heard a rumour that I was apparently planning on handing Katherine over to the council just to save myself. The council wanted Katherine dead by the way' Aria says, with a slight sigh as she continues on with the story. 'Anyways, after Katherine found out about the rumour, she searched the whole of New Orleans looking for me, until eventually she found me. I was just about to sit down to dinner with my mother when I heard a knock at the door. So I went to check it out as it was 11pm at night and no one ever comes to the door at that time' Aria says, as the tears are flowing down her cheeks once again.
