Anne walked into her bedchambers letting out a long sigh. Her day had been long and tiring catering to every wish and whim of Catherine. This was something Anne was not used to coming from a well off family. She found herself wondering what she had done to deserve becoming a lady in waiting for the queen of England, not that it was a terrible job but Anne felt like it was below her. She knelt at the end of her bed and started her evening prayers.

'Lord I come to the at the end of my days toils. I ask that you keep my soul safe through this night as you did during the day. I ask you forgive any transgressions I have made against you and my king. In your name I pray amen'.

Anne ended her prayer stood up dusted the dirt off of her night dress and laid down, her eyes shutting and falling into a deep sleep.
