"why..." Ava whispers, watching intently as Mr. Martin steps closer, her friends still trapped in the fall out bunker.

"Why what avaline" Mr martin asks, ever so calmly while taking another step.

"Why are they locked in there, why didn't you tell- why didn't you tell me I'm not dead, you were there, I remember" ava cries softly, scared. Confused. She finally trusted this ghostly teacher, only to find out he played a part in her death. Or rather, her not quite death.

"I was protecting you avaline, because once Janet jumped into your body, there's no chance in hell she'll give it back. I warned you, it was better not to remember" he takes another step. The muffled shouts of her friends come out in unison from behind the thick locked metal door. It sounds like they were begging her to run.

"You don't know that Mr Martin, you don't know that I can't get my body back" she yells out, fury taking over as she stops backing away, standing her ground.

"Think about it, if you were stuck here, and you finally escaped, would you want to come back" he asks. Though she hated to admit it, he had a fair point.

"Let them go, please" she begs, but he just chuckles out a simple "no".

How could she do anything to stop him, they were dead already- wait... They could still feel things, in their world things change, but it doesn't affect the living world.

She spots a wrench just to her right, one swing, a good one, could knock him out. She quickly grabs it, willing to try her luck, and swings, it was a good swing, he stumbled back, but he was still conscious. Panic spreads through her body, she just horribly bombed her chances. He slowly looks at her, the blood of a ghost trickling down his cheek. He was angry. He lunges at her, but she dodges it, and his hand lands on the lock to the fall out bunker, and it slides open. He makes another attempt and manages to grab her hair and slams her head into the wall. Her vision blurs, her ears ring, it feels like the wind got knocked out of her. The last thing she sees is wally pummeling Mr Martin while Charlie rushed to her side. Then it all went black

"Come on ava wake up, please" a familiar voice echoes, slowly the darkness gets brighter, things are still blurry, but the room was definitely familiar, it smelled of cleaning supplies and the crinkle of the paper she was laying on. The nurses office. She glances around, looking for the voice. Charlie's face comes into view, slowly, the blurred vision rubs off.

"Charlie..." She whispers.

"Yea, how are you feeling" he questions. She sits up slowly.

"Gross, it's weird, I've been knocked out before, I remember it hurting a lot more" she groans, though it hurt, it wasn't bad at all.

"Perks of being dead I guess" he smiles. Then it hits her.

"Charlie! I'm not dead! I remembered what happened, Janet jumped into my body Charlie! I'm not dead, just, without a body!" She stands up quickly, and just as quickly regrets it as her body loses balance and tries to take her back down. And she falls into strong arms, not charlie's.

"Wally?" She gasps, remembering the image of him beating the hell out of Mr Martin. "Where is he!"

"Locked in the fall out bunker, changed up in the corner" wally shrugs, his knuckles bruised. Part of the situation scared her, but the other part was falling for him. He protected her, he really cared, though she could've figured that out when they kissed at the homecoming dance.

"What's this about you not being dead" he glances at Charlie, who was at a loss for words.

"Wally, I'm not Dead, I'm just, not in my body, and now Simon thinks he's going crazy-" she starts, but feels him tense at Simon's name. Rhonda mentioned that he was jealous of Simon and her relationship, even if it was just friends.

"Ava ... Technically you're dead, no one here is alive" he tries to explain, but she can't accept it.

"No wally I'm-"

"AVA YOUR DEAD" he snaps, she flinches slightly, he doesn't get loud when he's mad.

"I'm sorry wally... I'm not dead"
