When Suzuki arrived back at her place, She immediately ran to her room and flopped on top of her bed, head first.
She was holding a pillow over her face, to mask her the embarrassing feelings she was having.
''Idiot, idiot! Why did I have to fall asleep at that time!''
(Even after he helped me deal with Kenji...)
She tightened her grip on her pillow to release all her pent up emotions.
It must've been difficult for Rin to go through a lot of trouble just for her.
''In the end, I only cause trouble for Masaki-kun...''
Suzuki's heart was filled with guilt, she couldn't figure out a way to resolve this feeling from her.
While she was hugging her pillow, Suzuki's memories slowly traced back to the warmth she felt from Rin.
(It's been a while since I've felt that comfort.)
Suzuki slowly loosened her grip on her pillow and rolled her body face up to the ceiling.
She stared into the light on the top of her room with a blank look on her face.
Now that her mind was cleared, Suzuki began thinking about a way she can repay Rin back for his kindness.
Her mind immediately went to buying something for Rin to express her gratitude for him.
It was a simple and easy way to say her thanks because it only required her handing it to him as a gift.
The only problem was...
''I don't really know what guys are into.''
She didn't have a clue what kinds of things guys were into, since she's never thought much about them until now.
Suzuki laid still on her bed for a while, trying to come up with something she should buy for Rin, but there was nothing coming to mind.
''Ah~ I'll figure it out later.''
She let out an exasperated sigh and sat up from her bed.
(For the time being, I should get some work done.)
Now that her head was all rested up, Suzuki wanted to spend some time reviewing her notes before heading back to sleep.
She stood up from her bed and walked over to sit at her study desk.
While on her seat, Suzuki leaned over to take out her notebooks from her bag.
''Let's see what I've managed to write today.''
With the book placed on the table, she flipped through the pages of the book until she found the right page.
Suzuki was going through her notes and her facial expression slowly became horrified the further she read into it.
She could barely comprehend her own notes that she had written down.
''Did I really write all of this in class?''
It was probably due to her fatigue that she couldn't focus much in the middle class, which ended up with her making poor quality notes.
Although she was devastated by this. Suzuki didn't let up her spirit and began writing down on the other side of the page, the things she remembered from class.
Suzuki needed to take school seriously now, after what happened in the entrance exam with her reputation.
Her goal for the next exam was to beat Rin and reclaim back her spot as the top student of the school.
Suzuki knew it wasn't going to be easy to beat him. After all, he was the one that helped her out in improving her note taking skills.
If she truly wanted to surpass him. She needed to push herself to her maximum limits, just for the slight chance she may be able to exceed him in terms of their grades.
''I'm not going to give up just yet, there's still many things I need to improve on before the next exam.''
She pumped herself up for work and began focusing on her book, in her room alone.
