"So, you're a guy?" Ron asked carefully, looking between Harry and Draco.

"Yes," Draco confirmed, smiling at the reassuring squeeze from Harry's hand underneath the table.

"And you two are dating?" Hermione asked, not knowing if she should smile or furrow her brows.

"Yes," Harry said, placing a kiss on Draco's cheek to solidify the statement.

A lively discussion broke out at their table as Ron yelled out in disbelief and Hermione started congratulating Harry and Draco. It was honestly pretty entertaining to watch how Hermione scolded Ron for his behavior and the red head could do nothing to defend himself.

Draco watched in amusement and let his mind wander back to a week ago. After their heart to heart, Draco had somehow managed to convince Harry to get to the hospital wing where he was tended to and sent on his merry way. They had gone to sit in the courtyard and talked through everything once more, Draco confessing his concerns and Harry quelling them all. They agreed on telling Ron and Hermione everything on the day of Draco's departure, on the off chance that one of the two didn't take it well.

After talking through that, Harry had confessed to Draco about his father being in the graveyard and about him being a Death Eater. He also told him about what Voldemort had threatened his father with and how he was concerned that he and Lia would be hurt. And after much convincing, Draco had told Harry that he would be perfectly fine. He didn't know that for certain of course, but he was fairly certain he'd be able to protect himself and Lia if they time ever came.

Now back to a week later, he and Harry were perfectly happy and were bidding each other goodbye in the courtyard.

"Promise me you'll write," Draco said to Harry, earning a sheepish smile from the boy.

"I promise that I'll try my best."

"What's that supposed to mea-"

Draco was cut off by a pair of lips crashing onto his and he quickly lost his train of thought, kissing Harry back eagerly. He pulled away and shook his head at his boyfriend with a breathless laugh.

"I'll miss you," Draco said for the fourth time, holding Harry's hands in his own and looking at them with a sad smile. They had not figured the specifics out quite yet, but settled on knowing they'd see each other again sometime in the holidays.

"You ready to go?" Lia asked, coming up behind Draco and placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked back at her and nodded, releasing Harry's hands and wrapping him up in a final hug.

He walked to the carriage and settled into his seat by the window again, with Lia and Mika sitting next to him. The carriage pulled away and he watched Hogwarts disappearing in the distance, waving one last final goodbye and leaning his head back against the headrest with a smile.

He was finally satisfied.
