The next morning, Alaina and Allison were eating breakfast as Dex was eating his.

Alaina had a rough night after getting home, the events from the previous night, playing on her mind. "I'm taking you to school today" She tells her sister as she puts her bowl in the sink. "That's ok. I can drive myself" Allison dismisses. "Yeah? Tell that to Dad" Alaina remarks with a scoff, making her sister look at her. "He doesn't trust me" She sighs. "You haven't really given him a reason to. Plus, I wanna meet this Scott McCall and figure out his character" Alaina says. "His character?" Allison repeats, curiously. "I don't care what Dad says, I won't hunt an innocent kid who hasn't figured his new self out. I at least study, before I judge. Now, hurry up" The older sister states. "Can we pick up my friend?" Allison requests, putting her bowl in the sink. "No" Alaina replies, sharply as she grabs her keys before she whistles, making Dex follow.
The drive was silent, besides the radio and Dex's panting from the backseat as the window was rolled down enough for him to stick his head out.
They soon pull up outside the school and Allison spots her friend, Lydia, who was waiting for her.
Allison opens her door and steps out. "Lydia!" She calls to her friend, who smiles and walks over. "Hey, Allison. Who's this?" The strawberry blonde asks, spotting the unfamiliar woman. "This is my older sister, Alaina" Allison introduces. "Hey" Alaina greets with a polite smile as Lydia waves.
Dex then barked, startling the girl. "And that's her dog, Dex" Allison adds, scratching behind the dog's ear. "Wow, he's huge. My dog would look tiny compared to him" Lydia comments. "He gets that a lot" Alaina jokes. "Anyway, we got to get to homeroom" Lydia tells Allison. "Actually, can we have a minute?" Alaina asks, serious. "Uh... Sure. I'll just be a minute" Allison tells her friend, who starts walking towards the school. "What's up?" Allison asks her sister, concerned. "That's her, isn't it? Girl that got bit by an Alpha and runs off into the wilderness, naked for two days?" Alaina questions. "Uh... Yeah" Allison answers, hesitantly. "Find out what you can about what happened in those two days" The young woman orders. "To find out if she's really a werewolf?" Allison asks, wondering if Alaina has the same thought as their Dad. "To prove her innocence. Believe me, I've met a lot of newly bittens and she's not ticking a single box on the most common reactions and behavior" Alaina explains. "Wait, how do you know?" The teen asks, confused.
Her older sister held up a small device with a button on it. "Emits a high pitched frequency that only canines hear. You saw Dex react to it and she got scared by him, but didn't react to the noise, which she should've heard by now. Keep an eye on her because I don't think Dad or Gerard are gonna think the same as me" Alaina warns her. "I'll find out what I can" Allison promised, seriously.
Alaina nodded, before driving off.
Once Alaina arrived back home, she was mortified to learn that Gerard had become the new principal of Allison's school and her mother was the new receptionist/substitute teacher.
