A week later, it was well into the middle of the night as Alaina was sitting on the floor of her room, back against her bed with Dex resting his head on her lap as she waited impatiently, constantly checking the clock on the wall.

Her Dad had informed her that he was gonna give Allison the rope test.
A test which she hated when she was young.
Sure, she got one of the fastest times, but that didn't make it any better.
It's been hours since he left and she hoped Allison would do it to avoid being tied up all night.
Dex then lifted his head and stood up, wagging his tail, then she heard the front door open, making her quickly jump up and run to the door, throwing it open and running downstairs with Dex behind her.
As soon as she saw her little sister, she threw her arms around her, hugging her in relief. "I knew you could do it, I just got worried when it took so long" She says as they pull away. "Don't remind me. Two and a half hours. It felt like forever" Allison pouts as Dex licked her arm in comfort. "You'll get better with practice" Alaina assures her. "What did you get, when you did it?" Allison asks her sister, curiously. "Allison, it was four..." The older woman tries to reason, but gets cut off. "How long, Alaina?" Allison asks, frustrated, earning reluctant sigh from her sister. "An hour and three minutes" She tells her. "You're kidding. God, how am I so bad?" Allison whines, upset. "You're not bad, you're a beginner. You've only known about the supernatural for a week and that doesn't immediately make you perfect. Practicing and staying true to yourself does, and I'd be happy to help you practice and maybe give you some pointers" Alaina assures her with a smile, earning a smile in return. "I'd like that" Allison replies. "We'll start on Saturday and you need rest, you've got school tomorrow" The older sister states with a teasing smirk as they go upstairs.
Two days later, it was evening as Alaina was in Allison's room as the younger sister was getting ready for a double date with Scott, Stiles and Lydia, while Dex was on the floor, chewing a bone.

A lot had happened in the last two days, such as Derek biting and turning another, which Alaina was not happy about and planned to kick his ass the next time she saw him.
