The world is ending, and we aren't doing enough to stop it.
Let that sink in for a second. The world as we know it is slowly being destroyed. Of course, this is nothing new or surprising. I just happen to be passionate about the environment. But my point still stands: the world is ending, and we are utterly useless at preventing the inevitable and impending doom. It's sad, really. Everyone you know and love will die a terribly drawn-out, bedridden death where the only thing keeping them breathing is a ventilator that needed to be unplugged because there isn't any more room in the ICU, and their legacy will be a long receipt of hospital bills that exist solely because we love making money so much more than keeping people alive.
So maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. To each their own. I still firmly stand by my life philosophy: fuck humans and fuck the way we destroy everything we touch.
Well, maybe not everything.
