Please don't see just a boy caught up in dreams and fantasies
Please see me reaching out for someone I can't see
Take my hand let's see where we wake up tomorrow
Best laid plans sometimes are just a one night stand
I'd be damned Cupid's demanding back his arrow
So let's get drunk on our tears and

Nice song. Adam Levine really nailed this song. I was driving
my way along Buendia to La Salle. After two years of having my master's degree in Business Administration I decided to enter law school. No, I turned down offers to join the professional league to help Dad managing our company since Kuya Axel entered show business. Well, I need to sort things up and I guess it is best for our company for me to have a legal background. True, 10 years ago, La Salle's Law School is not that competitive compared to others but recently, its performance was not just good but great. Actually, La Salle now is a pillar in legal education along with UP, Ateneo, and Beda. For the past 5 years, it has produced 14 topnotchers 2 of whom were top one.

God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young
It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run
Searching for meaning
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
Who are we? Just a speck of dust within the galaxy?
Woe is me, if we're not careful turns into reality
Don't you dare let our best memories bring you sorrow
Yesterday I saw a lion kiss a deer
Turn the page maybe we'll find a brand new ending
Where we're dancing in our tears and

Actually, I didn't study anything. It's our first day meaning no assignments so why bother to read anything. My class starts at 6:00PM and it's 5:30 already well I'm almost there.

God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young
It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run
Searching for meaning
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
I thought I saw you out there crying
I thought I heard you call my name
I thought I heard you out there crying
Just the same
God, give us the reason youth is wasted on the young
It's hunting season and this lamb is on the run
Searching for meaning
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
I thought I saw you out there crying
I thought I heard you call my name
I thought I heard you out there crying
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?

I arrived at our assigned room 5 mins. before 6PM. I guess we're only 15 in the class and the only seat available was beside a girl who wore an open buttoned down polo, pants, and chucks. Sorry, there's no dress code policy guys. She's very noticeable in class for the plain reason, her outfit.

-

We stood up as our professor went inside. We had our opening prayer. We filled up our class cards and gave it back to him.

"Torres, Thomas Christopher B."

I stood up as he called my name.

"Mr. Point guard. So nice to see you here in law school."

Well, I guess, he watched our games during college. I sat down and he called other names.

"Galang, Victonara S."

The awkward lady sitting beside me stood up. She wore a hard-blacked frame glasses and is short hair too. All of us has been called and I thought we were about to be dismissed but he reshuffled our classcards and picked another card.

"Ms. Rosario, what is law?" A lady behind me stood up.

"A-ah, sir. Ahm, Law is-" She was caught off guard. Shoot, now I'm nervous. I didn't know what to do.

"Sit down Ms. Rosario. Looks like you're not ready for your first recit."

"Ms. Galang, what is the supreme law of land?"

"Constitution sir."

"What are the bar subjects?"

"Political law, labor law, criminal law, mercantile law, taxation law, civil law, legal ethics, remedial law sir."

"Characteristics of criminal law?"

"Territoriality, Generality, Prospectivity sir"

"Brilliant Ms. Galang. You really deserve the scholarship and I guess this batch's bar bet. You may take your sit. Class, you are in law school. I am expecting you to be ready for our recitation today. How can we conduct reciations when you all look like that? I think Ms. Galang is the only one ready for tonight. I'm disappointed. Dismiss."

He walked out the room. My classmates invited me for dinner so we went to the nearest resto. I noticed that Ms. Galang was the only one who didn't come.

"That Galang girl. I hate her. I don't like her aura. She was not supposed to be here. The only reason she was able to enter our school is because of that scholarship grant."

I heard girls throwing things against Ms. Galang. I just finished our food and some of the girls were fetched and some came along with us to the parking lot. I got into my car and started my engine. I decided to be the last one to left and as I pass through the gate I saw Ms. Galang holding some books. I guess she just came from the library. I watched her as she headed to the LRT.

The traffic was heavy. I turned the radio on.

"Good evening everyone. This is your DJ Toni and you are listening to the hottest FM radio station in Metro Manila, 99.9 HOT FM."

I listened to her, she has a very good voice and her sense of humor is catchy. She has this portion where her listeners may ask her for love advice and she will answer it.

Hi guys! As I said in the lost soul there was a plot that keeps on bugging me. I do hope that you'll support this story just like the support you gave to the lost soul.

Post college life as I said nasa law school sila. Thank you po talaga. 😘
